  1. Quite amazing that somebody would pay 200k for Liam Kelly when they could sign Timothy Dieng for nothing.
  2. If he knew how to pass a ball five yards he might be moving the other way.
  3. If he left us after two months, he'd probably do so having built us a decent side.
  4. They've not just made it up, mate. There will have obviously been some level of discussions or at the very least he'll have been mentioned as a target within the club.
  5. Steve Evans "in the frame"? If he's willing to take the job then that should be the search for a new manager concluded...
  6. Edumdson and Byrnes need to be heavily involved next season.
  7. I suspect there will be a lot of people protesting next season, by choosing to stay at home and keep their money in their pocket.
  8. Last seasons kits were designed by a local company and then manufactured by Sondico weren't they? Eden Creative I think the name is.
  9. I agree, we should show last seasons player of the year the door because he's had a poor season in a woeful team.
  10. Wasn't there a rumour of Chesterfield for Forte? Nearer to home for him so would make sense.
  11. It's about time we featured a commemorative slogan on the back of our shirts, recognising our 50th season in this division. Death, taxes, OAFC League One, is my proposal.
  12. They recently announced their retained/released list for the youth team and decided to give him more time since he only arrived in January.
  13. It's disappointing and frustrating when we're so close to the finish line. Winchester is a direct replacement, but I wonder if he may just play Dummigan off the right and bring Brian Wilson back in to defence.
  14. I'm presuming you're trolling, here, because its inconceivable anybody could come to that conclusion. He was given a great chance as caretaker manager when Johnson left, after doing a pretty dire job he was kept at the club as assistant manager. He escaped through Kelly's reign completely blame free and was stood by again as Dunn's assistant. Looks like he was treated awfully to me...
  15. It doesn't work like that, I actually think the rules are they can't play. Bayern have an agreement to buy Coman at the end of the season, so he's effectively their player anyway.
  16. I don't know whether it was ever possible, but I'd imagine bringing the Burton striker in has put an end to our chances of getting Taylor back.
  17. I don't think that's a worry, we've got them until the end of the season which at this moment in time is all that matters.
  18. Surely they're going to make tickets available on the day?
  19. I'll hand over everything I have (albeit, that isn't much) for a signed Carl Winchester shirt.
  20. What about that 'golden ticket' thing a few seasons back? Wasn't that five games for about £25?
  21. Think we'll win this. Games like this and Wigan, against open, attacking teams, seem to suit us and they appear to be pretty awful at the back.
  22. I still had that down and out attitude at half time, 1-0 down, we've just huffed and puffed in that position all season. The fight Shez has instilled though is there to see, as above, players like Palmer wanted the ball, Holloway was giving his centre half nightmares and Main was doing a lot of running. In an ideal world it'd have been nice to see a goal from one of the front two, which is still a little bit of a worry going forward, but the work they are doing otherwise is fantastic. Defensively the mistakes appear to be a thing of the past, Wilson looks much more comfortable at right back and Gerrard and Dieng brilliant at centre back. Lapses at the back don't look inevitable now. Just a real sense of positivity coming out of the ground today. We're not going to become free scoring with this team obviously, but stay tight at the back and nick a goal or two in games and we're on our way.
