Has been a passenger all season. Totally unfit, way off the pace, and clearly a player who cannot play through the pain barrier. Another 45 minutes today with his head down and the world against him. Today, although a half too late, Penney FINALLY saw sense. And look what a fully fit XI put on? A semi decent performance with lots of drive. Taylor should have been dropped weeks ago, instead Penney has had us playing with 10 men week in week out. A good win today backed up by an excellent set of results. Can fully believe this. I read in the Chron midweek about how Taylor can't fully participate in training and is only x% fit, still struggling with an injury that has plagued Jacobson. All well and good these long emails about team selection and who should be our next boss. Stick to Champ Manager. Yes Penney is a nugget, the players are a disgrace, the football is absolutely mind numbing and an insult to the game, but no one is bothering with the underlying issue at the club and in particular the way it's being run. It's rotten. If we're fortunate to still be in business in 5 years time we'll still be playing in a 3 sided dump surrounded by terraced houses. Managers and players come and go, homes don't. So regardless of who'll be in charge, I won't be there to see it because I'm not willing to spend anymore time and money supporting a rotting football club on its last legs.
