    Explain that to me please? He has been an attacking midfielder behind a striker now for a number of games. How many goals has he been involved in? What has he done exactly besides a couple of close controls? I see exactly why Wellens picked Jack Byrne week in week out over him. If Baxter and Gardner were fit he wouldnt get a sniff. Baxters back now, Maoche can go back to warming the bench.

    Problem is, as with what happened with Shez early last season, if 50 turn up and he has to pick the best 5, it doesnt necessarily make them good enough. Just better than the rest of the dross.

    The only upside to this is he may sign for us in summer as hes likely to leave Villa. Injury prone, but if you get 20/30 games a season from him, hes a quality player to have in the squad.
