  1. I thought Maoche was having a torrid time, gave away a few needless fouls in the first half when caught in possession also, and thats when he actually got close to being in the game. Just so happened they finally capitalised on it 2nd half. COG, Branger and Nepo also had stinkers imo, just none of their mistakes or lack of playing led to goals. Was definitely not a game where we "defended from the front". No real basis for this opinion but I cant see him starting Sylla, even though I agree with you that he should play. I think the only change may be Baxter for COG on Friday.
  2. Agree pretty much with that assessment. Missilou the only one in the first hour even getting close to their players, and the forward line did nothing to help move us up the pitch and keep hold of it. Maoche had a stinker, and Nepo and Branger didnt help out like they have in the last week by playing inside the field. Bennett was a huge problem for them, enjoyed watching him the first hour. That said, Swindon hit the post and won a soft penalty and scored from a stupid Latics mistake, but otherwise didnt create masses of chances. Baxter coming on with Sylla helped us dominate the middle of the park and look more lively, and Afolayans touch was fantastic (unlike COG) meaning we retained possession up the park. Weird game really as the last 20 minutes really made me think we deserved the points, but overall I think we should be lucky for the 1 point. The first hour showed just how poor some of our players can be (they dont shine so impressively when they are good tbh), and a reason why they are at this level, very incosistent. Happy with a point but we need to masively improve if we are to a) mount a final playoff push b) compete at all should we get there.
  3. Late late form forcing a push to go clear at the top, however a cup semi final could become a distraction. Praying I can hold on to that promotion spot!
  4. My point being, that the majority of the 3000+ of the fans who have been going are ST holders (not sure on figures) so the drop wont be as drastic as people believe until next year. FWIW Harry, I reckon youre in a minority of ST holders who will just stop straight away. Pay on the dayers will still be there aswell, freebies/last minute call to watch some football etc. So the drop of 4-500 isnt that drastic as people believed the protest would be. Add to the fact the footies been largely shit and the season is dying out, there would be a decline regardless. Dont think AL is worrying that much just yet.
  5. Told all my work mates, who literally have no idea who Oldham are or where it is, that we beat Tranmere last night, cos it feels great to announce we won 2 on the bounce!
  6. FYI, I genuinely dont think the boycott will affect attendances this year. People who are planning a boycott are more the people who are refusing to buy next years season tickets. So they will still go with this seasons ticket until its done.
  7. You can phrase stats all you like, at the end of the day they are just numbers.
  8. How dare you come onto this board and act civil. Disgusting.
  9. Trannies will bring about 1000, so Id imagine it will remain above 3000
  10. Some serious over estimations of how many people will boycott
  11. Personal opinion is you will get one answer: "Do one". I wouldnt be disclosing any of that private business information, and would be reluctant to any meeting set up by the Trust if I was the owner. If he agrees to any of this, he is basically opening himself up to allowing all financial matters to be scrutinised, assessed and determined by fans who have absolutely no idea how to run a business. Would you see United fans asking Glazers to show them an invoice for the electric bill? A waste of time in my opinion.
  12. What have you spent the Fa Cup money on Abdallah. I demand you show me penny for penny the investment that was made with that cash.
