I have voted him IN, but until Christmas, but after that I may change my mind. JS talks about none of the players have - I think he needs to get some, to sort his team out. He is not changing enough and leaving players off the team sheet if they are not performing, and whatever he is saying at the moment is not working. Having said that. he is Oldham through and through, and if someone else more experienced comes through their blood will not bleed blue will it. IMO we should back him to the hilt and continue to get behind the team till Santa comes, then we (and I am sure TTA) will be thinking again. I cannot even contemplate League 2 football.

I don't think Shez can be being ruthless enough. I would stand them against a wall, ask if they are prepared to play a full 90 mins and if not stick them in the reserves. He has got to command some respect from them - they are professionals after all. If they say they will play for the shirt and they don't, a spell in the reserves. He needs to show them who is boss, and get some results.

I thought the defence showed more of what they are made of, having to support Crossley. Didn't think we really got going, as thought Cheltenham were dire - if we had stepped up in class and pace, we could have got those 3 points easy - can see why JS was disappointed on his World comments. Impressed with Hazell, and thought Lidds had a good game. Lovely to meet Beardy yesterday and the other "crew". Two points lost IMO. Gregan solid as usual. Thought the strike force were almost frightened to try and score - Davies looked done in. Mark Allott - good game IMO. Hope a two week break from a match will help.

Won't put into words my contempt of that pathetic excuse for a referee else I will get banned from the site - he completely ruined that game and should be sacked instantly. What he let Carlisle get away with beggared belief, inconsistency, incompetence - I could go on for the rest of the week. Off to look at the FA site to see if I can report him. It's a long way to Carlisle and back from Leicester - and for Oldham to have to play against 12 men was more than I could stand. Trying to find somewhere to eat where those glorified cheats weren't last night was difficult as such. What an appalling waste of a weekend.

I quite like the Guns of Navarone, but another one which I think I remember hearing last season was when the 4th Latics goal went in against Donny and that was the chorus of Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis. The man I sat next to was very quiet and hardly said a word, but when that one came on he was up and jumping about, and so were a lot more.

I think they should send Porter a bill for all the physio and treatment he has had - its been a case of, thanks for that Latics, now I am "fit" for another club better than you. He has to go now, though I still thank him for all the goals he scored.

I'll just say - thanks for the goals you scored Chris, but what a shame you have gone out on such a low instead of a high. Think he has made a mistake, and I cannot forgive his agent for putting us through what we have been through, but if he does not want to wear the Latics shirt with pride then good riddance. His agent should be shot. Hope TTA have got the money loss out of their system and we can build on the new signings. Can't wait for 11 August - love a home game first!
