  1. Some valid points made. Disagre about Liddell - he had a go, unlike most of the others. Also, as much as I love Chris Taylor, thought he was an idiot to let the Swindon fans wind him up, then get a yellow card. Thought we missed Jarrett when he went off - hope he is OK for next week. Think they are just going to amble through the rest of the season, knowing there is nothing to play for. Disappointed they did not put any effort in, being as 300 or so of us made the long trip. Also, Gregan did not work in that position - seemed to be trying to defend as well. I actually felt sorry for John Sheridan - he did a lot of shouting and arm waving, but they were obviously not listening, so he just stood there and let us get slaughtered. I would have given them a rocket in the dressing room - professional footballers, what a laugh. I also predict that Constantine knew it was his last game, before the match started, as he purposely turned to the fans and clapped. Good riddance - he is lazy, never ran for the ball and Craig Davies is 10 times the man Leon is. That tannoy in the away end was gradually turned up to a "perforating eardrum" level, the toilets were diabolical and the seats were cr**. What a waste of money and effort on the fan's part.
  2. Oh what a shame it is an April Fool - Chaddy in the nude at Swindon, would have gathered quite a female crowd!!!!!!
  3. Best - Everton without a doubt. Worst - Luton away a few weeks ago springs to mind.
  4. Forget the play offs this year after todays performance.
  5. Without doubt the worst performance I have seen for a while from Latics. Clueless, couldn't be arsed, no chances created, Luton danced around us and thoroughly deserved the win. The players might as well have sat in the stands with us, for the use they were, and they should have a whip round to refund us for the tickets we paid hard earned money for, cos it was a sham. The only one who should be paid a fraction of his money was Deano - the rest were a joke and a disgrace to the shirt. They gave us nothing to shout about, and the jibes from the Luton crowd to us was fully justified in my opinion. Am I going to spend more hard earned money next week on my planned trip to BP - I might give some thought and see if I can be bothered. They could have scored more: I am gutted tonight and I am sure everyone else who went is too. Hope I feel different in the morning. And send Constantine back - he is less than useless - is he in the team so he will drag us down and let Leeds climb higher? I have never seen such a performance and realised how depleted the team is until today with all of our injuries, but they are all professionals and should be fighting for their place in the team. Shame on you all.
  6. Anybody got any clues about parking for Luton - official site mentions Sainsbury's for £5 and footballgrounds guide says nothing! Think we did street parking last time.
  7. Tickets arrived - hubby and I will be there - have a big bag ready to bring back those 3 points.
  8. Oh I have had a s*** day at work, but that picture has nearly made me land on the floor laughing - first class - brilliant!!!
  9. Definitely Leicester (well out of earshot of my fellow Leicesteronians! including my dad and grandad!) as it is closest.
  10. Just echoing all comments above - gutted to see you go Les, but hope you get your health sorted in Oz. All the very best for the future in everything you do - thanks for some cracking saves - a true gent - we will miss you xxxx
  11. All the luck in the world to Les - a true gent, has stopped a time a two for a chat and a photo, and I hold him in the highest regard. Hope things work out for him and his family. Not sure how shaky we are going to be with just the trainee in reserve though?
  12. On official site it says a large area given to us. Are we safe getting tickets on the day - how many will a "large area" accommodate - been several times but cannot remember!
  13. Couldn't click into the link on the official page quick enough - other teams sign players and we sign dancers. What a let down of a headline!
  14. Anybody have any ideas about tickets for Swansea a week on Saturday?
  15. I usually end up sitting near a moaner, and I try and drown them out with my singing, on my own or not. Hope we can get behind the lads on Saturday with a full stadium, sing our heads off and get the right result.
  16. Coming back from Chesterfield (ironically one of the nearest grounds to Leicester)! Peed it down, got hopelessly lost in the back streets as we took a detour as the traffic was awful, and ended up aquaplaning along some country lanes somewhere in Derbyshire! Brown trouser time it certainly was. Either that, or trying to get out away at Scunthorpe. Both memorable journeys I would sooner forget.
  17. Its a vile colour and I will not be buying it - will stick with the home shirt.
  18. When it says tickets on sale after match on Saturday (which I cannot get to, as I am working Saturday morning), what time will the ticket office be open for me to ring - anyone know?
  19. Well done Hughesey. Was praying for him to score to teach them a lesson. From what the game sounded like on LW, that load of scum should be thrown out of the league. Hope they get relegated. Glad all of my fellow latics got out of it safely.
  20. Cracking video - brought yesterday all back, and we are on it! Hope it appears somewhere we can save it for posterity.
  21. Absolutely cracking - brought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. Well done.
  22. Definitely count me in - and my husband who is not a Latics fan but will be converted before Saturday if I have anything to do with it. The camaraderie (spelling?) on here is wonderful - all of us together - brings a lump to the throat - lets hope we can get through this and come out with the right result. See you all on Saturday.
  23. Just to be certain, can someone tell me exactly where Civic Centre is - I will definitely be there if I can find it.
  24. When I saw how many were there, I thought it would not be much of an atmosphere, but how wrong I was. It was brilliant, and a well deserved point - glad I went.
