    The Ronnie Moore era. Even when we won it felt like a defeat when walking out of the ground. Thank goodness for Luke Beckett. The football was dire. Only trumped by Dave Penney, dire football and less wins!

    Graeme Sharp. His experience as a player was vital back in the day but took so much stick. As manager he presided over the slide down the leagues caused by a lack of investment from Mr Stott JWL and the board. He was helpless and a little hapless having been thrown in at the deep end as boss in an impossible situation.
