  1. Bought my membership last night. Went to reserve my seat for the Yorkshire game but stand A is marked as unavailable. I know there are building works in there this season, but the stand is still open, so why can't I reserve a seat in it? I'd usually sit in there cos its always a decent atmosphere. I can sit in E as a member, which is a great view, or C, which is a good stand too, but usually go for A because its aways pretty rowdy in there. Not too sure where to go now!
  2. October 2nd. They had 5 points from 10 games when he took over. He turned them round, but they have struggled recently.
  3. Yeah, at last seasons game (where we absolutely smashed the Yorkies I may add), we got in the ground as the first ball was bowled. The queue for the bar was horrendously big. Got in the queue and only missed 2 overs, so things have improved massively. And we sunk a lot during that game and hardly missed any cricket, so not at all bad really.
  4. This division is awful. The division below is even worse. There is no way on earth that any sane person could be in any way happy about being relegated to that.
  5. Easy. I don't think they are on general sale yet, but when they are you will get them no problems. Its the only game of the season that ever sells out, but it doesn't sell out straight away. Usually announce it as a sell out a week or two before.
  6. He took the shot against Chesterfield that ended up going in, via the keeper, post, and keeper again. It was an OG all day (and season) long.
  7. Wasn't me, and I won't be protesting. I'll be turning up and getting behind them. He needs to go though. Dunn might not be "THE" problem, but he is "A" problem.
  8. It's interesting that the only person who thinks he should be given time is the person who doesn't spend a penny on or waste a minute watching this absolute shower of :censored:e that we are being served up on a weekly basis.
  9. They are pretty hard on a bike. Especially in the heat that he did it this year (I did some of them in the Alps the same week as the Tour this year. It was bloody hot!!) I'm a big cycling fan. But like a lot of cycling fans, I just can't warm to Froome. Have a lot of respect for his achievements, especially the considering the stuff he put up with in the Tour this year, but he's just so boring. And he looks horrible on a bike. No style there at all. If Geraint Thomas won the Tour, he would win SPOTY by an absolute mile because he is much more likeable. Bizarrely, I don't like Froome because he is boring despite me loving cycling, but I do like Andy Murray despite him being boring and me not really caring for tennis either. I don't quite understand that... On Sinfield, I have a lot of respect for him. Think he has great leadership qualities, and love the way he keeps calm under pressure. Think the nomination was just reward for a brilliant career spent at the top end of his sport. And he's a good solid Oldham lad. Theres a lot to like there.
  10. Maybe if he had come and told us all to :censored: off it would have been a bit more inspiring than that godawful interview he gave to radio Manchester after the game.
  11. They aren't a decent team, and their home record is shocking.
  12. I like Liam Kelly a lot. But anyone who would rather have Liam Kelly over Jose Baxter deserved to be bored to tears watching the dross we've been served up this season.
  13. We all know that if we sacked Dunn, we'd just get some other manager that has no experience. Most likely someone no one has ever heard of again, like Kelly. When Johnson left, we waited 3 months, and then appointed Sunerlands under 9s coach as manager. That board would just do something similarly as stupid again, so what would be the point of firing Dunn?
  14. That's absolute balderdash. I want Corney out. I was here long before him. And I'll be here long after him. Be that League One, Conference North or wherever.
  15. I keep going because if I stop and we start doing well I'll feel like I'm coming back with my tail between my legs and feel like a bit of a glory hunter. Which is ridiculous when you consider I've been going 25+ years and for the most part of that we've been absolutely crap. Also, if I stop going we will probably start winning. And I'm not having that. I'm not sticking round for 25 years watching us be absolutely dire, only for us to pick up as soon as I sack it off.
  16. How exciting would a promotion campaign back to a division we've been stuck in for 20 years be?
  17. Speaking of dinosaurs, I'm sure I saw Ronnie Moore in Ladbrokes in town after the game yesterday...
  18. Dean Holden shouldn't be anywhere near the club. Poor player. Poor coach. Poor caretaker manager. Get rid.
  19. I'm sure we'd be able to afford one with the "revenue streams" from the "purpose built" new stadium.
