Stood watching our local church 'Guy' go up in flames last night it got me wondering who i would like to see in that position and one man who came to mind was Roy Keane...... I should remember him for being one of the best mid-fielders of my time but all i bring to mind is the following; 1) That awful tackle / attack on Alf Inge Haaland in 1997, he then went on to admit he tried to injure him and the manure fans applauded him for being so honest..... 2) His undermining of Mick McCarthy and his 2002 World Cup squad For them reasons alone i was humming to myself 'burn, burn, burn the bast****. 'burn, burn burn the bast****.'... A little harsh?.....maybe, but thats how he makes me feel. I now cheer any team playing Sunderland Do i need therapy?.......... ================================================================

For me my Horror game was Grimsby @ home Feb 96/97. I had arranged to bring 4 nephews & nieces (must have a been a cheap deal on for kids) Getting to the game i had 'bigged' the club up and were telling them how we would murder Grimsby, i had filled them with sugar and they were buzzing!.... Sat at the front of the Chaddy (this was the main home stand in them days..... ) As you'll all remember it was a dire match, we got beat 3-0 and it rained. I then had to return 4 bored, tired, never to return kids... The whole season was dire and we were relegated therefore my worst manager goes to the pairing of Sharvey Cannot bring to mind a worst player.....there have been so many Oh well Happy Halloween........

Whilst standing in the Q for the RRE last night fumbling with my £20 note thro. thick gloves i noticed 2 girls on my right in the concession Q. I watched as the first girl approx. age 14 i would say paid her £11 and entered, then the second woman (obviously her mother... similar features) approx. age early 30s followed her in and also paid £11. I dont know who i was more annoyed with... the woman blatantly ripping of our club or the gateman who never raised his head to check her age. Inside the ground they were met by Hubby (i assume) all having a right good laugh. How much are the club losing thro this kind of activity? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
