  1. "Had they been that good, they'd not only have won the European Cup but the Ryder Cup, the Boat Race and even the Grand National!" Jock Stein vs Bill Shankley. Prozac knows his footy.
  2. Andy Cole had both of his legs broken in a challenge by Razor Ruddock...
  3. OAFC0000, your going through this topic like a bull in a chinashop. Everyone has their perception of what's going on, don't insult their intelligence just because they don't buy into your views. Give others an opportunity to air... I'd like to know what was the censored word in this comment... There's no need for any of this.
  4. Experience. From what D_S has said, XP Antivirus 2008 is hijacking his browser for nothing more than an advert. It states that he's riddled with infections, when in fact it probably isn't. If D_S has been using Norton - and doing regular scans, he'll be okay. Plus a simple Google search of the infamous XP Antivirus 2008 gives me enough evidence to support my claim. . He needs to bolster his defence with a decent firewall. I recommend Zonealarm, however new updates to ZA have caused some users problems - I use an old version of ZA which is spot on. There are many feebies out there, I will help him if he needs one.
  5. I take it you have XPSP2. 1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop 2. Select Properties 3. Click the Desktop tab 4. Click the Customise button 5. Click Restore Default 6. Exit all windows and restart your computer If that doesn't work, I have another method that's a bit more fiddly.
  6. AOL has pulled the support one of the webs cult icons: Netscape Navigator
  7. It's not authentic, its malware. It'll probably take some removing, they're usually dug in like a sheep tick. I'll need to see a hijackthis log Terry.
  8. Replay on French TV plus stills http://www.goalcentre.com/eduardo-broken-leg/ A horrible injury, I wish him a speedy recovery.
  9. Rest in Peace Eric, condolences to your family. Those who live no more, whom we loved, echo still within our thoughts, Our words, our hearts.
  10. That's a good idea, there's loads of opportunity with this one. I watched some old adverts the other day through youtube, on the back of Davegtt posting up an Um-Bongo ad. I found Kia-Ora (Too Orangey For Crows), the Chewits Monster ad (Cloverfield ripped this off big time!), and the Weetabix ad with the biscuits dressed in rolled up jeans, braces, white tees, and Dr Martens. I'm sure Ray Winstone/Bob Hoskins does a voiceover on that... EDIT: It was Bob Hoskins.
  11. Aye, I knew that Terry - thanks anyway. When I did the graphic with the apostrophe, it just looked odd.

  17. The Signals sig shouldn't be a problem, neither should the Latics and England avatar - I'll have a look later, not much time at the moment. If somebody else does one in the meantime, fair do's....
  18. Don't agree with that at all. ID and creationism are just plain kooky. Watch this.... I can't wait for him to explain a pineapple....
  19. I do think there is a correlation between extreme atheism/strong scepticism and extreme theism. They are both extremely flawed positions, shrouded in ignorance. Agnosticism and constructive scepticism allows for evidence however remote, atheism does not - the book is closed and there's nothing that can sway the atheist away from that. Similar could be said for the extreme theist. Agnosticism isn't a cop out, it's just the a-typical stance of a true sceptic. I'm willing to change if someone can prove it to me.
