We've had a crack at fave XI, how about a team of players you expected to do well but just didnt cut the mustard for one reason or another..... manager - graeme sharpe Goram - when he came back age 48! forbes - really dont need to say anything here..... makin - will upset some but never rated him and was gobsmacked at some of teams he played in! thompson - nah, sorry billy kenny - bags of talent but ended up sacked! carlos rocca - didnt get his chance but expected him to explode onto the scene after seeing him play pre-season a few years back wes wilkinson ? Dude from non league bout 2 years back, started off ace but fell away.... think thats his name sean macarthy - fell over too much ian olney - injured too much michael rickets - pretensious too much! I know its not a full team but theres probably loads of them that weve forgotten because they were so bad or our minds are blocking them out! What was he called from bolton who left the ground after being subbed? And alan smart - cant remember if he was a midfielder or a forward or just a barman?

I want Utd to win (cant believe i just typed that) purely for Scholesy, if he gets a winners medal he'll have done it all and can come to BP without any regrets . As long as its a good game im not all that mythered..... I'd like to think im not so bitter/shallow to hate anyone that much. Lifes too short.

I heard a rumour (dont we all) that he was going to chelsea in a cash plus Wright Philips deal. Does that mean Shawny would have to play two or three games for us per season or do we just own his left arm?

I think hes been a great player for us and it sucks that we let him go without a fight. We need to replace him rapido, not leave it and end up with nothing like Wellens, Porter, Killkeny....

Same from me too. Had a chat with him in the jacuzzi in the JJB once and when he found out i was a latic i couldnt shut him up!!! Top bloke, will be missed. All the best big fella (i mean height, it wasnt that type of jacuzzi.....)

Remember a similair injury to Henrik Larson and he came back better than ever! No doubt one of you whizkids will find the pic i recall seeing in the papers at the time... Alan Smiths was pretty nasty too....

Its an owl! It had a mouth too but looked cack so i took it off. And Louis Molloy just prices himself out of the market now he's done Becks and that Winehouse bint. I had my last one done by Les at Wicked Tat2 at the Rochdale Rd junction in Shaw and it looks fantastic (IMHO) i'd definitely recommend him. Damn site cheaper too!

I agree and actually dont have a problem with this, but wouldnt it be nice if we could pinch that last promotion spot by the back door and then have this money to spend on players for the championship, even attract players we wouldn't get in this division. Ergo, we really need those loan signings NOW! And if i'm brutally honest i wouldnt have a place for a big slow carthorse with the speed and turning circle of a steamroller if he does get fit before the final push. Sorry Greegs, nice bloke and all that but i think his day has been and gone now. KTF.

I was looking to get some sort of owl related tattoo a while back but couldnt find anything suitable either. I used to have this one as my profile pic/avatar on here. I was thinking of having it but decided against it. Think it looks pretty menacing tho.......

I heard that we were trying to put some sort of deal together (and yes it was Sharpe) but he decided to go to a dutch club instead as a player he knew was already there. Fabulous stuff rumour isnt it......
