TTA made a bad business decision and are now stuck with trying to find a way of making it pay back. Some fans can accept that and have blind faith in supporting Oldham Athletic, others want the football club to come first as it always was and rightfully as it should be. Two equally valid perspectives, however they both accept that the powers that be are stifling any chance of positivity coming back. I honestly can't see any reason to be optimistic until those in charge leave and hopefully someone else gives some focus back to the thing that made this club in the first place...football. The chances of this any time soon though appear slim to non.

How many times can we escape the drop with last minute knee jerk changes? We will come a cropper one day...this is the negative approach that comes from the top down. It's an inevitable outcome in most fans eyes...the sad thing is getting relegated will probably spark a bit more interest (albeit for one year only if we struggle) as opposed to another 3 years in this division fighting the drop.

Croft isn't an out and out winger...absolute bear minimum is average pace to be a winger to get past a man.

I paid £24 on the day yesterday for the first and last time this season...I'm not local anymore but thought I would get to half a dozen games this season. Based on that performance I won't bother again, and there in lies the problem. Zero return on investment for any floating fans that might even be remotely tempted in visiting again. I pay for LP and will just listen to games when it suits, even that has been hard work recently.

It was the first game I have watched this season. The first 10 minutes I thought we looked solid and set up OK however could instantly see why we haven't been scoring. Too rigid, lacking creativity, too lumber some, too slow, lack of movement. We effectively look like a team of 11 Gary Nevilles, I don't doubt they have a good mentality and attitude. Which is fine for the defence but the midfield is well under par. They just really lack any creative quality, unsurprisingly that's what costs you a bit more money at any level and we obviously have sacrificed that under Robinson. I don't even feel I can fairly judge the strikers as they had zero service. If we don't swap some of the players like banks, klok, Croft for some decent quality in January we are in massive trouble.

I get your point but seeding one or two squad players in would give a better indication of whether they can do a job than ripping out the whole heart of the machine. I would have kept Green and Clarke in and given Kettings Edmunson and Banks run outs plus changes wide and up top. Chances are though that old heads needed the rest time.

Robinson clearly not happy with Winnie in the post match comments. But does say he will still be with us. Whilst he may be with us I don't think he will be anywhere near the match day squads so probably his last showing for us. Probably a bit nieve from Robinson to make the spine of our team so weak tonight. Edmunson and Burgess and woodland and Banks as the the 4 central players with Kettings in Goal is just far too soft and that's why we leaked so many. And that was before a fan could listen on the radio, watch on Tv, buy replica shirts online, keep updated on forums...the world has evolved and so has the definition of a fan. We need to encourage anyone with any form of association to the club to part with money to support no matter how big or small. How much revenue do you think comes to Prem team's from overseas such as Asia...are they not fans?
