Playing sunday leauge with a lad who has a very very similar temprement to Davies i can understand everyones opinion on Davies, but that is just the lad being him at he mo, he gets easily frustrated and cant control it like 90% of people. He hasn't played as well as many expected in the opening couple of games and he easily loses his cool. Sheridan will know how best to try and get the best out of Davies he knows him 10 times better than anyone on here does. Yes his actions were wrong, but its about dealing with the situation best which will prevent him doing it again. He is a very good player, his attitude and decision making are what let him down most of all, things that hopefully Sheridan can change.

I think the arrival of Meher may have soaked up some of the funds available to spend on Phillips.... No meher then i hink Phillips would have been playing against Millwall...

If Craig had Hughe's football brain in terms of when to make runs and where to make them he wouldnt be playing at our level IMO.

He certainly has been well worth a contract in my eyes, shone against derby. So there may be something Sheridan isnt sure of maybe his attitude off the pitch or his wages not sure...

Best players tonight IMO O'Grady Hazell Phillips Smalley Poorer performances tonight IMO Lidds Stam Taylor (except when he was on the right) I was probably the most impressed with O'Grady he was 10x times the player i expected upon his performance tonight, a strong and composed player...

I applied around 6 months ago and failed on the 6 hour assessment day. There are 7 key areas (core competencies) you need to have nailed on: Respect for race and diversity Team working Problem solving Effective communication Personal Responsibility Resilience Customer and community focus. You have to get 60% in each of those areas to pass through to the fitness stage and final interview. The problem i found was that it is a terrible way of selecting whether someone is appropriate or not for police. There is a systematic way of marking individuals and they simply tick boxes if you say the right things. They gain no insight into your personality and anyone could parrot revise what they want to hear and get through but not believe any of it. My Mrs has just got her date through for when she starts her training in August, but i have well and truely been put off recently i wouldn't want to do what they have to. The scum of society don't respect them, youth don't respect them, and they are losing respect from the average joes because they arnet on the street doing what they should, but instead filling in unneccessary paper work. I have turned to more business minded attitude at the moment, the money i want to be making in my career wont come through the police (plus i don't think i could carry out actions and follow policies/laws that i don't necessarilly agree with) Having a set target number of serious and petty crime arrests each week is ridiculous....a good and rewarding career but it aint for me.

Haha i was a big fan of this for last season i know franny tried it once or twice but then swapped it....think you need to stick with something for a full season to take effect not one or two games.... I like it except for that crappy collar.....i dont mind the collars on the current home kit but those are pants might have to do some alterations and get rid of the collar if buying one!

Don't know if it is much to go by (maybe just a random number) but my season ticket number today was 4861 and im guessing there wont be many more than a hundred or so than me so could we be pushing the 5000 mark for season tickets?.... The RRE looked pretty much packed out i only had 2 sections to choose from with about 30 seats in each....But i don't understand how are 4 sections of an almost sell out RRE going to relocate to the smaller section for the games against leeds and hudds??? Surely there wont be enough seats for us all...

Sounds more like a Craig Davies to me.......Just sounds like Craig has shown more of the talent we know he has than Chris has to the Millers....

So O'Grady it is then......not really prolific but sounds like the back up striker that we need to push davies and hughes along with alessandra. Lets see if he justifies a 5 figure fee, Rotherham paid 65k for him from Leicster so makes sense that they want to re-coup a bit or all of it.
