Watching the Liverpool v Arsenal is it any wonder fewer and fewer people are watching lower league football these days....That is the best 45 minutes of football i have seen in a long while end to end stuff at such a fast pace for the full length of time. The difference in standard is ridiculous.....Ahh well but it still aint good enough to take the Oldham out of me!

What most people consider to be the 'right time' for us to be playing a team is usually the 'wrong time' for oldham. We have always performed well against the better teams.... What is interesting is that recent form puts us fourth in the league amazing considering the injuries and constant changes to the team Sheridan has had to make. Can't believe people are still calling for Sheridans head on the back of this...

I also had my car window put through last night but on my drive even when nothing was on show! had my ipod stolen from the glove box in my car....Was hoping this was just someones sick idea of a joke but somehow i think not..... Just make sure you all leave nothing on your car even in the boot or the glove box...

OK then would you also care to give me the name of every team and manager that has failed to win promotion in their first/second season.... Of course the majority of teams that get promoted are going to have managers that have only been at the club a season or two because believe it or not every club in the lower divisions is chopping and changing their managers every couple of seasons!

None IMHO i think the closest i would possibly give a contract to would have been Stuart Giddings purely because he didnt do much wrong and we could do with a steady left back along with lomax to fight for the left back spot. Constantine - not what we will be looking for when davies, hughes, allessandra are fit. A big bustling forward will be looked for (like ricketts was supposed to be. I didnt personally think he did too badly) Kilkenny - Even though he can produce the odd touch of class and i think he would thrive in a successful team where confidence is oozing all around him. We can't keep putting him up until that big club comes to snatch him away. Would only sign him if he agreed to a 4 year contract, where if he did bugger off would get some mega dough for him. Jarrett - from what i have seen he is only average slightly better than kalala but no better than allott a lot better out ther imo. Livermore - Again from what i have seen he is only average a good utility player who seems to be steady wherever he goes but never going to shine in a game. Maybe worth a year on a low contract for desperetae times. Beresford - Was good but i would honestly keep Crossley for one more year and get a middle aged (in goal keeper terms) about 25 years old to be his understudy. O'Donnel- Not done too badly bar the odd slip up here and there and wouldnt be too bothered if he was our back up keeper next year but his positioning is a little worry and i think maybe we could get better in.

Funds are available but not just for any tom dick or harry.....TTA and Sheridan were probably quite happy to splash the cash on kilkenny or clarke because they were seen as good investments as Allott and Davies have shown to be.....Splashing 200k at our level on someone is a decision that takes months not a week because you dont get your first target. Im 99.99999% certain Sheridan is lining up targets to spend that money on in the summer maybe clarke again who knows...... what i do know is that i would rather Sheridan have a long hard think about who he is signing for 200k and make sure it is the right choice because if it isn't all you doubters will be straight down his throat and it will probably cost him his job!! Get real!

I do think that getting into the play offs and failing to win promotion can have a negative impact on your ability to bring new players in during the summer. Mainly just for the reason that you don't have the same amount of time to prepare because you don't know if you are going up or staying down. Sheridan should now be lining up his transfer targets and getting them as early as possible....Easier said than done i know because the better players tend to hold on to get the best deal. But also there are the players that like to secure their future early and then have a relaxing summer knowing they have a contract for another year or two....

I have given it Alessandra as i think he has slotted in the most comfortably out of all the youngsters.....probably would have given it to Lomax if he had featured a bit more but that isnt really his fault more Sheridans....

There seem to be many more injuries than when Nobes magic healing hands were here....can't remember too many players being out longer than a week with injuries under that man....

Just to let you know....you arne't supposed to refer to someone of different ethnicity as 'coloured'. They are black/brown, as we are white. Many find coloured a derogatory term, as we are also 'coloured' and likewise they aren't exactly pink with yellow spots. Don't shoot the messenger just another point of PCness for you

I have always used the toilets next to the boundary blues room even though i sit in the lower paddock of the lookers. However saturday was the first time in years i have been refused entrance to the toilets in case i sneaked upstairs.....i was therefore told to go back outside walk all the way down the front to use the toilets for the lookers lower. Suppose they are doing their job but i was bloody bursting!

I was thinking along the lines of now this season is pretty much over, Sheridan feels like it isnt woirth rushing players back incase they get a long term problem that could be more serious and even push them behind schedule for the start of next season...

Top signing! If he can be a patch on what he was a Vale last season then we have got ourselves a great loanee..... Lets give Sheridan a bit of praise for once!

IMO Sheridan is being tight with his money so that next season we can keep the majoirty of the players currently at the squad AND add a couple of more new faces i expect maybe 2 or 3 to leave in the summer probably Thompson, Kalala but i strongly expect sheridan to sign around 5 or 6 new players. Thus providing us with the larger squad we have never had allowing us to sustain a strong push all season. Like Donny, Forrest and leeds....they always can pull someone out of the bag. The fact is we didnt have this fundling at the start of this season and doing it half way through the season IMO is too late.....Sheridan is doing the right thing imo settling for about 10th position saving th money and getting the quality players who are out of contracts in the summer. Everyone knows no teams let their better players go in January barring the odd glenn murray....lets just be patient next year will be good i feel it in my blood!!!

I have recently bought a new 32 inch hd LG tv. I have set it up so that my xbox is connected to it but also i would like to run my PC through it. It has a pc connection vga?? on the tv, the computer starts fine and the black microsoft xp is shown on my telly but just as it is about to change to the blue xp password screen the tv turns off and display flashes up saying (no signal) yet the computer is still running fine. I sent my pc off to be repaired thinking there was a fault with it but they sent it back saying it was in fine working order. I then tried the pc on a normal monitor and it works fine....any ideas why my hd tv cuts out when the blue screen is about to appear?? i have tried playing with the screen settings but this has had no effect....help as i really could do with only the one screen for my tv and pc!
