  1. I don't know is the honest answer..... maybe you're right..... but if I thought it would happen I wouldn't waste 10 mins of my lunch spelling it out. Are you at least accepting/saying that everyone wants it to happen.....? I'm not sure what you mean here..... for those that do demand it [the communication], moaning is hardly surprising if it [the initiatives] doesn't happen....... Anyway, I'm not one of those demanding it .... I'd like it.... but if it doesn't come and then I see some of it being delivered, I'd be happy with that......
  2. Corney and Barry sat in the North Stand Board of Directors box next to Mr. Lemsagam, flicking us the V's.....!
  3. It's a new beginning..... we can't carry on making the same mistakes surely.....?
  4. He's only been in the job for 2 working days...... and he's a former agent..... so one would hope he wouldn't be naive enough to fu(k up a transfer loan or otherwise!?!
  5. You may well be right.... he has no obligation..... and he definitely shouldn't tell anyone but an effective board of directors the 'ins and outs'. It would however be worth his while setting out some basic medium/long term plans/objectives, such that us supporters / paying customers can understand & appreciate his future decisioning and from which we [him and us] can unite behind them. Forget tub thumbing histrionics like "I'll have in the Championship here, Premier League there, back to former glories everywhere".... I'm talking about stuff like this; - We make a loss every year. In normal Limited company circumstances, this is not sustainable. He is going to underwrite these losses for X years/seasons and attempt to balance the books by 20??. - In order to achieve this, he is going to target an increase in revenue from player transfers and supporter numbers. - The first of which will initially come from his extensive knowledge of the World/European player/transfer market. He will bring in young World/European talent and knock em out at a profit every year. - He will then invest some of these profits into TP's youth set up and training facilities, in an attempt to increase the frequency of & profit from home grown talent too. - If he wanted to do a little bit of tub thumping, he could say he intends to put an end to a procession of loans, good contracts for those with potential and an end to selling cheap! - He hopes that his work above will see us compete better over a sustained period, thereby bringing more fans back. - However, he will also address some of the obvious inadequate facilities in the 3 stands he owns and find a way of getting Blitz/Gazal to complete the fans bar on the top floor of the north stand. Possibly through part or complete funding himself and/or striking deal that sees an increase in revenue for the club from the OEC. - Finally, he will work closely with OACT and the Marketing/Media team to do more to promote the club to the wider Oldham community including a better funded Boundary Blues with improved facilities/Events. If he doesn't say/do any of these type of things, I'd have to ask myself, what are his objectives and motives and are they in the interests of his [and emotionally my] football club?!?!? I would want the Trust to be working towards understanding all of the above and then finding an agreeable way of communicating that to us....!
  6. He might be doing the same in League 2.... like Leyton Orient did....!
  7. 1. It'd be nice to know how he's intending on running the club.... but - if as you reasonably assert - it's his money and he can do what he wants.... we'll find out soon enough anyway. 2. 24hoursfromtulsehill, take note! 3. If he run's the club in a manner whereby there's lots of consequence..... one suspects pie's will be the last of his, or our worries.
  8. ....I’d rather not watch it in the same League as Stockport thanks.... ....I don’t care about his personal wealth as such, that’s his business.... I’d like to know an outline (not necessarily the fine detail if he feels this compromises his ability to negotiate) of his business plan for my football club though.
  9. I hope so Alf.... but until we’ve heard from him and we are able to make our own judgements on whether his words seem sincere & his subsequent actions back up those words.... we don’t know if we are looking at the equivalent business model of, when new owners took charge of Bournemouth, Brentford or Leyton Orient?
  10. What if he has no intention of investing large sums of money in infrastructure improvement projects; Chaddy End, Main Stand, RRE, Training facilities.... has no interest in buying the assets of Brassbank Ltd & OEC Ltd.... will fire TP and disband the youth set up, because his primary motivation is to use Latics as a vehicle for pumping in loads of ‘French lads’ that he hopes to move on for modest profit or neutral cost to OAFC2004Ltd, but his agent friends earn handsomely out of in placing them elsewhere. What if this business plan - that doesn’t care for Latics one bit - means the sum total of our ambition is merely to stay in the football league? Would you have liked to have heard a dickie bird out of him in this sceanrio, or are you happy to wait because he’s shy?
  11. ....whilst starting to sound like his stalker.... I could’ve sworn singe has already had one?
  12. ....am I the only one who finds it mildly concerning we haven’t heard a dickie bird out of him yet...?
  13. Gentle reminder. Less than 24 hours to go....... Posh (a)..... also a Cup game. Don't miss out.....
  14. Stevie, you might wanna think about the group qualification lines..... as not the top 2 from every group will go through.....?!?!?
