  1. Not sure what to say! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7858331.stm 10.38am entry 10.26 is good as well, is he waiting for a better offer from Cardiff?
  2. Listening to Radio Leeds on the way over this morning and Grayson reckons there could be 3 or 4 in and out at Leeds today. I was waiting for more clues than that but they didn't come. There is a suggestion over here however that one of the incomers is McNulty from Stockport.
  3. Tad harsh! I was behind it, the guy hit it like a kicking horse and Ithought it was past Fleming before he saved it. Interestingly though none of his team mates gave him any praise for it.
  4. no problem . my fault for not being clear and having had too much Stella and Rioja ( not a good mix I know)
  5. I think you have got the wrong end of the stick here or I've not made myself clear. I was focussing on 2 points. 1) the local jobs thing. only people in Lincolnshire should get jobs in Lincolnshire seems to be the BBC tack yet their Scottish broadcsater is working from London and broadcasting to the whole of Britain. 2) again thier arguement seems to be those portugese shouldn't be allowed to work over here as they are foreigners but the person reporting on the story wouldn't have been here if her foreign parents hadn't arrived 30 years ago or whatever. Hope I've made myself clear jss but I have a horrible feeling I haven't. I just think that the BBC have spent the dayf ocussing on something that really is a non story.
  6. Quite happy to be criricised jss, but what 'levels' are you talking about? The BBC (5 live in particular) do seem to have a habit of riding two horses with one arse.
  7. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_2/7858151.stm Don't know where on earth the BBC have brought this from . Have they some secret source? As he doesn't seem to be allowed to get off the first team bus and we've had one reserve game since Adam was a lad, I can't think even Shez would throw him in. However in the BBC's defence they may have lost it as I'm now listening to their phone in programme - 'should British jobs stay local?' presented by someone with an Asian name and a Scottish accent! Five live don't you just love 'em!
  8. You must have gone to the games I missed Prozac because my memory of the legendary Tommy, apart from crying with him after the Leeds game. is of him racing down the wing every week with his oversize shirt billowing in the wind like a tea clipper in full sail, and then firing his cross unerringly up the full backs arse!
  9. guessing here but have only 5 other teams lost fewer games than us away this season?
  10. too much Stella and red wine PEDANT POICE ALERT wasn't it 2-1 at HT agin PBoro?
  11. at least we know from experience that we are capable of coming back from here this season The other results are going our way at the moment as well. KTF
  12. Bloody hell I hadn't noticed that! Welcome back Craig. Under pressure and losing one nil after 25. getting a running around according to radio Manchester
  13. It is the same side as saturday but is anyone else concerned that yet again we have no keeper on the bench. It doesn't seem a tactical thing as when Crossley was fit we had Flem on the bench but now it seems we don't play one because we haven't got one. but we appear to have made no attempt to bring a replacement in. Shez obviously doesn't rate bell and i would imagine he might be off at the end o f the season. I thought they had high hopes for Ollerenshaw but although he is still only 18 it's all gone quiet on that front. I just hope we don't get made to pay before Crossley is fit again.
  14. there was a point in the second half where he was havong a real chat with someone for over a minute. Excellent save for CT after Lardarses brilliant flick on.
  15. It won't be his shooting boots 'cos he never brought them!
  16. I was there, at the game not with the lass with the .............. you know what I mean. Stayed to the end but got off sharpish and was amazed to pull up at the first service station and find ourselves filling up with petrol next to Ian Stott. I said what are you doing here and he said fastest drink ever with an oppo charman and then I was off! ps the aforementioned lady was first introduced to these pages by a Bristol (honest) City fan called 'the general'. I think. Can't for the life of me remember a word he said tho'
  17. 3 nil down and still 30 mins to go, mine weren't blue I can assure you.
  18. hope we are not getting into hunt the scapegoat here. Baaaaaaaaaaaa I wish it was that simple
  19. we will be in Leicester that w/e staying with our Foxes supporting mates, We ummed and ahhed about sitting with them or going in the away end and decided to do the latter. I shall be asking them for their copy of the LM now. Interstingly they bought their tickets last week and didn't get the deal!
  20. I thought he signed a pre contract agreement with Forest in late December, the day before he scored a hat trick and Calderwood got the push. What has happened to that if he is suddenly available?
  21. I think this would make a Wolves bid for Taylor more unlikely now http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/7830985.stm
  22. no gloating now everybody, it's not clever and it's not funny
