Well i gave myself a day off from Latics misery and travelled with a couple of Bury lads, the b2net isa smart enough stadium but with a sellout in all 4 stands, two things despite 10,000 singing fans the acoustics are poor sounded like an end of season meaningless game, 2nd thing they are going to have some stewarding problems next year when the Sheffield clubs visit, completely inept, Some inbred knob from chesterfield got onto the pitch and smacked bury keeper round the face , caught red handed on a camera which is up on BBC website , not enough stewards from start to finnish allowed both sets of fans to invade the pitch at full time and knobs from bury and chesterfield assaulting the players. New stadium, still a :censored: hole.

Also Next Sunday Boundary Park and 3 or 4 latic's fans will be in the spotlight in a gripping BBC drama series..

I went to the Vale v stockport game yesterday on the way back home from Exeter, as it was a ground i havent been to before, dont know how many of you have been to Burslem but my god makes Harpurhey look like Geneva, along with some of the scummiest set of supporters in england, if they performed miracles and got up from the playoffs its one i wont bother with next season!

Bury win at Chesterfield tomorrow and they also will be confirmed as up, that would deserve a much bigger congratulations what they have done this season at gigg lane has been nothing short of stunning

If you can jump on a train to Bolton and get in for 8am, then i wouldn't mind company and a little petrol money for the long round trip... And on that note to anyone not bothering going because of travel , then i can offer up to 3 seats for those in Oldham/Bury/Rochdale areas, flying straight back up north after the game

Im trying not to think of the possibilites behind the hyped up build up to an end of season presentation evening, because whether on the pitch or off it OAFC know how to dissapoint supporters and the chances are it wont be anything significant enough to get excited about!

There are positives after all then this season, sticking in L1 with hopefully Bury, Sheff Utd, and Preston away as well as a trip to a new stadium at Chesterfield, who knows maybe even Accrington will be joining the party as well

exactly and foolish enough as it sounds i wouldn't have it any other way, u***ed fans celebrate winning doubles, we celebrate winning throw ins 10 yards inside our own half, Oldham till i f*ckin die be it L1, L2 or evostick premier, Top Gear on bbc2 or The Cube myt weekend is gonna finnish on a high note whichever i choose!

To be fair, the first team to lose to Oldham since our run of 13 winless games began was always likely to get the sack whether that be Gus Poyet or that red c*nt Ince !!!

Ive spent my simday afternoon in wetherspoon's reminiscing, getting the cold shoulder from all the bury and man u supporting mates, downside of living in Bury, but the thing is we get all pesimistic after watching Latics for 8/9 months then these away's come along such as Dagenham, Plymouth and yesterdau and you remember why you spend over a grand a season following a rubbish League one side! The good days feel all the better after putting up with the :censored: weve hadf to on and off the pitch in the past 3 months or so. See you and the lad with glasses, the young girl and some others every other week i will say hello next time, exeter the next 1 for me !

Stewards were excellent, thought we were getting into bother at half time when we went for a fag out the fire exit and a few lads walked round the corner, stewards panicked a little tried to rush everyone in, turns out the lads were Forest fans asking how Oldham were playing against their bitter rivals, well run away stand fantastic stewards we had a crack with for 90 mins, apparently the ones in orange jackets were Forest, and in yellow they were hired by the club and all County ??!!

We also got 20 seconds airtime on the football league show last night, though to be fair had we not got the late goals and it finnished 0-0 fook nows what "highlights" they would have shown.,

i was too occupied applauding the titans yesterday, fook me my hands and throat are sore today 3litrles of Buxton water and she is going to have to provide me with what i need to night as like i said, my hjands have been rendered useles today !! God i :censored:ing love Oldham Athletic.
