    Kitching was piss poor and words fail me with Hammond who looks lost and way off the pace! Should have won it on chances but we were second best and a point is the least Southend deserved.

    Just reinforces for me that the toxic atmosphere during the Lemsagam era with 11 managers in 4 years was in no way the right environment in which any of the the club’s youngsters could possibly progress! Hopefully, academy players like Moore, Atherton & Forshaw will prosper under a settled coaching staff and proper ownership!

    We’re way overdue a decent home performance. A convincing win tomorrow would set us up for Tuesday and could really cement our playoff ambitions!

    We signed Yarney just after that who was probably our best defender last season. Not made the starting line up at Tranmere since mid December.

    Yeah and thats great but it’s been done without Walker & Dallas. The point I was making is the fact that because they weren’t fit we weren’t going to get very much, if any value from their loans in what’s left of the season.

    Well we’ve hardly seen Walker or Dallas and we’ve only 12 games left to play……we needed fit players ready to hit the ground running…we didn’t have time to bed them in!

    We were desperate for new recruits to come straight in but you have to ask the question as to why these players were signed when it’s blatantly obvious some of them were miles off fitness wise.

    Warhurst just floated across the grass…never seen anyone move quite like him but apparently Marshall was quicker!

    They were as fit as they needed to be in the day….if they were playing today they would have to be far fitter and almost certainly would be!

    Yes, obviously…But because of maintenance work they can’t be given the complete end.

    Absolutely, so if that’s the case why sign him in the 1st place?

    Absolutely….for one player to come in and make a substantial difference there would have to be a fairly competent midfield to start with playing a formation they are comfortable with………we haven’t got either.
