    Im confused as to why people are surprised by the release of gossett, he didnt make a single squad this year despite being a pro and we named 2nd year youth players in the squad ahead of him

    im all for giving youth a chance, but this was just a waste of money he started the season as 6th choice centre half, he was never going to get a game

    Whilst im not defending corney - i think he has made some poor choices this year. Corney out is a weird statement, where is this great queue of people waiting to take over a football club which is hemorrhaging money.

    Honestly what do you want him to say: two months ago i thought we had one of the most promising managers in the league and gave him a long contract, it hasent changed in that short timescale to the point of sacking him. The ground is :censored: so we are building a new stand - if you want to know about it theres a blog. The statement of intent is the same as it was two months ago, same as the start of the season.

    They had lambert holt and le fondre all at the same time and didn't get out of the division. So scouting may be ok but its useless with :censored: management

    Im not really sure how this plugs a gap, smith is injured for a few weeks and to cover we have kissock mellor winchester and dayton which have all played centre mid this is just a waste of a wage for me as i doubt he will play a game and if he does we have wasted other wages on kissock

    In terms of him being good or terrible i thought he had a decent game but... was it not his man that scored the 3rd with 5 yards of space in the box?

    Yes but since wes got injured mellor winchester and now tarky have all had a go it replacing him. effectively making him our 6th choice do we need a 6 choice?

    i think he is really going to struggle to get another chance, he wants to play in midfield but had two opportunities this season and :censored:ed them both up

    Our bench on saturday had conner brown who, after half a week training was clearly there to make up numbers and a sixteen year old. We are due to loose 2 more of that squad by saturday Even if we pick up minor injuries on turesday we will be struggling to put a side out. This makes sense

    Im not a fan of him as a striker and to me all is best moments came yesterday from wide positions. Good crosses, turning in and having long shots from wide areas. As far as being a striker is concerned he was never in the "right" positions.

    I think we need to get simpson out on loan again, he should be getting as much real game time as possible while we have rachubka under contract. He may be promoted to number one next season?

    I understand that but at the moment he is 4th choice with even mellor picked ahead of him in pre season could see him 5th choice. A loan move could actually be make or break for him, if he comes back stronger, otherwise he could just sit down the pecking order all season and then get released al la ryan brooke

    maybe he looked and thought i was released by a Scottish team and i have my captain and a guy on loan from a premier league club in centre mid so i cant get into the team anyway.

    he is out of contract at the end of the season and by doing the right thing for the club could possibly be doing himself out of a playing contract next year. Says alot about the man
