Voted for M U f our a couple of reasons, 1, is easier and quicker for me to get to eastlands that BP, 2, if city sold Richards it would help our club tremendously, but they won't. 3, some of the missus' relatives support city, even the mother in law, and yet her late husband was a diehard 'tic. I despise them both but I hate city more.

Fre latics player for every season ticket holder. Seller walking round during the game selling chocolates, crisps etc. tour of the ground, meet the players for infant and primary school classes. Just a few ideas, apologies if already suggested.

Can't say I am impressed with Wigan being known as the latics, but now I see they have nicked our "keep the faith" motto. Was hoping they would stay up and Blackburn get relegated but now I hope they both go down.

I was a wee nipper when my dad took me to latics week in week out, for the first few years I couldn't care less about the footy, I played with the empty cups, fast on the wall listening to the fans singing etc. gradually my blood turned blue and I became a latics fan, have been since and always will be. Good knows how but I always managed to stump up for a season ticket regardless of the price, it was something we just had to do, no piss-up watching the latics on a Saturday just wasn't an option, all this because I got hooked when I was a nipper. This is a super initiative by the club, and must be supported 100% , when the time comes and you have to pay full price, get over it.

I think the main problem with your postings is that they make it sound like you are a spokesperson for the club, not for us fans. Surely the point has been made that the dwindling attendances and support is not due to prices, it its the state of the stadium and the complete pigs ear the club made by demolishing the lookers, and yet the club has made no attempt to give any sort of encouragement for three past eight months regarding its replacement. They always say that no news is good news, but we are latics, and in the current state of affairs, no news SUCKS. Now is the time when the club needs to encourage sales of the new season tickets, so what do we get from the club? Oh yes, the meeting with PD is canceled, nothing on the official site about this, just a mention on here via someone on Facebook. It is hard to keep quiet when the club we love is dying a slow death. And just for the record,I am normally a glass half full than a glass half empty sort of guy.

Tbh it its getting to the stage where I wonder what Barry/the trust, actually contribute, do they provide a service to the club that nobody knows about? I thought the trust was set up to give us fans a representative on the board, to inform us of goings on at the club and to put our questions to the club. Reading flagmans post, he has tried to contact Barry a few times to no avail, also the lack of response to the meeting with PD is a total joke. Btw I sure won't hold my breath waiting for a response from "our rep" on this topic.

I know what the club said months ago, it would be nice if they said things are progressing nicely. Even if they said we are no nearer now than we were then, at least we would know.
