    Thing on that again Monty - Huddersfield, Leeds, Forest, Bradford, both Sheffields, Barnsley Bolton, Sunderland, Southampton all teams we have played in past 20 years, there are more but that's a few examples. There are a shitload in league 2 we haven't played - ever....

    I'd hardly describe the French Ligue 1 as elite, outside of that top 4 I reckon most are at English Division 3 level. He's an experienced player should have known better. Good riddance.

    Solution is there, not like we are going to miss his goals. He's strong, good in the air....but far from a natural finisher. Watched him closely, especially when he starts and there are numerous times he just doesn't want to bomb into the box, seems to linger on the edge, pisses me off when there are crosses fizzing across the six yard box.

    How about putting him in at central defence, sort of unit we need at the back. Where's Joe Royle when you need him!

    ChaddySmoker can you honestly not see what Fane brings to the game? He allows Byrne and Gardner a lot of freedom to do the pretty stuff and rightly so as they are more creative. He also makes numerous tackles / blocks / interceptions / little toe-ins which break up opposition play. I agree he does look a bit untidy at times but he's a massive cog in our wheel at the moment and I love his attitude and desire. Give the lad a bit more time. Had a similar argument about Tarky a few years ago!

    They only sing at around 40% volume too...pathetic fans, total lack of passion. I can’t stand them for this alone.

    Yes - Byrne had a pop at Gardner for giving the ball away, Gardner had a go back. It shows passion for me, better than a load of shrinking violets who can't take a bit...

    My main issue with Holloway is that when he does manage to turn and get a yard on a defender he never even looks like shooting, he tries to beat the man again. Not a natural striker in a million years.

    would take Rohan Ince on loan from Brighton - ran their midfield (Swindon's) against us down there.

    Glad he's moving on myself, sick of every manager shoe horning him into the team when there are better options in those positions. He also turns and passes inside / backwards far too much. Think this is a blessing in disguise...
