  1. So in our case there is ‘nothing we can do.’ Of course we could if the appetite was there. But it plainly isn’t. So the slow death continues. Your second point I haven’t debated, because I totally agree.
  2. My original point was. There is nothing we can do. (Because not enough will want to the harm the club, for any tangible affect) You said fans have the power. I said, I know. An again I said but enough will boycott for any affect. You then said but fans have ultimate power. I then started losing the will to live. So here goes for the 3rd time. . I agree fans have power, but only if enough boycott. Or do fans now have magic powers?
  3. Not sure. Is there any allowance for wether the said teams include any Leicester players?
  4. He’s entertaining himself (and me tbf) with some classic eyrsey ramblings.
  5. Your a beauty. Maybe you could draw us a diagram, of pass-to miss-to created chances. Maybe include which end zone Scholes had most success in, thus meaning his minutes to management ratio was excelllent.
  6. Hence there is nothing we can do. . Your arguing with yourself again
  7. You just got it. . . Surely your not reducing your argument to should would could??? Any manager in the history of football can claim that. Its a results buisness. As you well know. Is he unlucky, or is their a pattern that he can’t get his side to concentrate for 95 minutes. 3 last minute goals suggests the latter.
  8. I’m up for all of that. But it very likely means relegation. A lot on here, can’t see the benefit in taking 3 steps back to move forwards. An it will take the drastic steps above to make him think twice. Alas, it will never happen, because there isn’t enough people who want to ‘harm’ the club to get him out.
  9. Probably not, I should of said if he pays enough to keep the club out of court, and the players going on strike.
  10. The saddest part is there is no viable way out. If AL pays the bills, there is nothing we can do about it. Literally nothing. I did think that maybe if the fans group bought the ground, they could put the rent up on AL, but then he would just slash the playing budget further, and the downward spiral continues. Very depressing.
  11. https://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/news/2019/april/wellens-we-just-needed-to-be-ruthless/ Not bitter are you Richie?
  12. Yet, you don’t seem to reflect on your past mistakes. If you want to talk the past, then it isn’t selective. If you said- ‘I had a go, it wasn’t for me. However I’m open minded enough to support in any way I can’ I wouldn’t have a problem. (In fact, remembering what you posted about your career and achievements, I’m sure you could add value) Instead, you are coming across as I had a go, but I didn’t like the heat. I still want my way to work, despite me not following it through last time. I will keep posting my displeasure until somebody agrees to meet me, so my way can be heard again. . . . You want to be heard, but not questioned. You posted a long reply to my question, ‘how is an independent trust different?’ I replied at length to your points, and why I disagreed. You didn’t reply. I asked again. You didn’t reply. Do you see the pattern here owl? I’m just trying to ask somebody with such passionate views to articulate your point. An you can’t/won’t. It’s not a good sign for somebody that wants to be involved. Again.
  13. Nobody is interested in the past. Is there a reason you haven’t replied to my previous post? I’ll put it more simply. What are you offering that is it tangibley different to what we’ve got? The answer is nothing. I will keep bringing this up until you acknowledge your complete double standards. You protested last time. An you backed off because in your own words ‘you didn’t like the people involved’ My view is, you were to weak to follow through on what you truly wanted and/or didn’t like the flack. (Fair enough) On the opposite side of that. Underdog for example has taken so much stick over the years it’s not true. Culminating with recently being harassed right in front of her face. However she has remained progressional, and articulate and good humoured. You on the other hand, did the rallying call- (fair enough) didn’t like the heat (fair enough) but then you have the audacity to come on and question in depth the people who do stay, and in the main are doing the things you want anyway. You have zero credibility in regards to change for two reasons. 1. You had a chance, and didn’t like it. Yet still you criticise. 2. You offer nothing, that A, it’s different. An B, would actually affect the club at all.
  14. The idea of an independent supporters trust who hold fundraisers, bring fans together, and help the club with things like a new lawnmower sounds great. The idea deal of a ‘war chest’ is for the birds. Let’s say people come together, and work their arse off to raise 500k (even that would be a monumental effort) what does that cover??? 5/6 first team wages for a year. Terrific. You say it would get rid of cliques, what happens when ‘the three leaders of independent group’ want to try and bid for the club. (With their war chest. . . ) Suddenly they are seen as thinking there shit doesn’t stink. (As you saw from first hand) The point is a lot of you want to change already happens in some form, playershare, fundraisers, it could be argued that it could be bettered and built on. But they exist. You aren’t coming up with anything radical or new. The things you don’t like , are human nature. They will always be cliques, there will be people jostling for position, while they smile at you politely. It's what Makes the world turn round. To use your earlier metaphor, you are like the independent group in parliment, all shiny and new. People listen for a while because you hold no power or responsibility. Then you get in power, and people realise your just like the last lot.
  15. What would an Independent trust achieve that the current one isn’t?
