  1. Indeed. How can an acadamy coach get more out of them than a legend of the game? Exactly the same players, and the bills still need paying, yet the performances are much better. .
  2. Soothe yourself with the fact that you can talk in complete sentences, and he can’t.
  3. I have completely missed this. When people have said chuckle I thought they meant AL’s brother. Who is Birket? Is he involved with the club? Sweet jesus. . . I’ve just twigged, it’s the comedy guy from the video. Please, please make tell me he’s not involved with the club?
  4. Pedant. I clearly meant the fans group. Not all of us chipping in a fiver. My point still stands. It was about AL, and why he’s coming out with shite like this. The last thing he wants is to have is the fans-led-group being his landlord. Hence he’s throwing his toys out. It’s got nothing to do with not knowing what he bought. He’s commented several times in the past about wanting to buy the ground eventually.
  5. I think he’s feeling the pressure, and as usual is reacting like a 12 year old. He he would hate the fans being his landlord, so bitches about it in the media. ‘I can’t afford it, and I think the fans can. . .’ Tough shit Abdallah.
  6. Albert Rusnak playing for Slovakia against Wales. Wasn’t he the young lad we had from city, did he come in with scapuzzi? If if memory serves, he kicked off because we had the audacity to start him on the bench for a game?
  7. If it goes past talking to him, and actively becomes a movement to remove him, I will support that. People asking who who would take over. We would. About a month ago we didn’t know we had fans capable of buying the north stand now they’re are. Imagine how much more attractive we are with fan owned north stand, AL gone and fan led board. That prospect excites me. Clubs with 4/5k fan base don’t die overnight. They just need galvanising into something whorthwhile. The league we play in doesn’t matter one iota. This has become so much bigger than the football, it’s about the club and it’s fans.
  8. Pathetic response. Who’s happy?? You don’t get it do you? What’s the point of a lower league football club? Because it isn’t what we’ve got at the minute. Watching that video is heartbreaking, you basically got a load of die hard fans who given up their time but can’t do a single thing. All they can come up with is, let’s ask for another meeting. . . Because he might come on the 6th time of asking. Especially if we don’t say please this time. So come on, you tell me what any fan can do except vote with their feet? An yes I would watch conference north with a fan led club. Wouldn’t you????
  9. Hi Andy. Ive watched the meeeting. Firstly, really admire you all for putting your head above the parapet. My issue/question is. What can we materially affect? We can’t force an owner to sell. It’s obvious that we can’t trust a single word he says, so the idea of ‘transparency’ is laughable. He’ll only tell want he wants us to know, not what what we want to know. And as he is the owner there isn’t a single thing we can do about it. IMO the way out is to starve him of our money. That will mean a lot of pain, and very likely a relegation or two. But things are so bad, i would much rather take 3 steps back for 1 forward. Watching that lifted me in a sense because ultimately the club is about the people and the town not some clown who wants to play championship manager and take us for mugs. I won’t be back until he’s gone, and if it’s conference north without him, but our club, ill get a season ticket. Anything else is futile. Having said that you should all be proud for the time and effort you put in for the greater good. Good on you all.
  10. Say what you want about abdallah, most of it won’t be far off I’m sure. But he’s a fighter, most of these forgein owners are completely faceless. (Think Orient) Yes he controls his output, but at least he defends himself, which he has every right to do. FWIW I still think Scholes left because the overall situation was so poor. IE shit squad/no money/erratic owner. All things he knew when he took the job. It was an easy out to just blame AL. I would still prefer him to go as I think things have become quite toxic. However I do believe abdallah wants the club to do well, he just has a very warped idea of how to achieve it IMO.
  11. Applicant must - Make their own way to games. Bring their own half time refreshment. Liaise with Barry. Be Willing to use their house as a bond/insurance (in case of unforeseen circumstances against the club.) Sounds appealing.
  12. Quite. Not forgetting the thousands being spent on Giles Coke two year deal. All the best.
  13. He’ll be counting down the weeks till he can leave.
  14. I’m all for protesting. I think the time has come. However, what happens if we win 3 on spin under Wild, or the next manager? Despite everything, results are still the be all and end all.
