Maybe because when players are suggested to AL by Barry there is one budget. And when it’s players AL found there is another budget? It’s not good for morale, but it’s hardly sinister. In addition, I’m sure there are always players any chairman pushes the boat out for if he rates him personally, and is suddenly skint when the manager wants what he Perceives is a dud.

I voted Keigan Parker. His ability to ‘look busy’ while doing fuck all was unrivalled. He also had unbelievably annoying habit of going to challenge for the ball, but stopping five yards before he got there and throwing his arms up about why he couldn’t make a challenge. The first and only man to whinge about tackles/challenges he wasn’t actually involved in, but pretended he was. It was a new low.

We are going to end up where the fans run loads of events at the OEC, but don’t want to give any money to the club, and AL as he is now not wanting to give a penny to a fan owned stand. I think that’s really Harsh BP. I actually felt really sorry for him, he’s really trying to be engaging in a foreign language. He comes across miles better than he did on his first interview. Also he answered very genuinely when asked about how much time he needs, the direction of the club, what he wants to do with the youth, which all amounted to roughly the same thing IMO- ‘I’ll try my best, but as you can see from the bloke on my left I’m well aware i might not be here by Christmas.’ As for Mo. Watching that made my blood boil. He sits there like a wannabe gangster, telling the manager what to say, and looking at people like there a piece of shit. I honestly felt like I was watching some cheap Ransom video, Banny is the hostage, and we’re all desperate for the nightmare to end. I hate how things have turned out.

So. You’ve posted on a forum with your view, and asked others for theirs. Fair enough. You’ve had numerous well balanced replies disagreeing with you. However despite saying you’d leave it, and despite saying you don’t want to change opinion- You keep posting saying ‘we should talk to him’ Im struggling to see what would satisfy you? It’s obvious nobody would like to do what you want. The vast majority of the board disagree with you, is that allowed? Or do we have to keep saying the same thing over and over.

Aye. Was thinking similar. He’s appointed a board. Got a commercial manager. Two decent signings so far. Warm weather training. Plans to invest in the training ground. . .We’ve had far worse pre seasons. I still firmly believe he’ll sack them all by September, and appoint himself as manager. But things from the outside do seem more structured.
