    Yeah possibly. Although I think that’s a nice cherry on the cake. Or when you’ve been offered the same money by two different clubs, but he prefers our location as you say. I don’t think though that he turned down a grand a week elsewhere to sign for us for 800 a week because he likes Manchester.

    It does look that way tbf. If mills is as good as some are saying we can’t of been the only one in for him. I’m not having that players suddenly want to play for us. We just offered another £500 a week than x club.

    Plenty of managers who struggle with the language still get results. As as with any manager, that’s what I’ll judge him on. Not his ability to say bouncebackability in a northern accent.

    That’s how it should be. However it isn’t. The lack of BAME managers isn’t down to lack of a talent. It’s down to unconscious racism. How else is there so little representation- black people can’ t coach??? I think it’s terrific, and it will hopefully lead to BAME coaches and managers being the norm, rather than the very rare exception.

    You may have a point with regards to how teams start the season. But footballers love an excuse. The win the first three, nobody cares. Lose the first three and people start to look for excuses. If only we’d done more running in July.

    No. . . . Im saying they do get paid. They get paid to go on holiday in June - Unless your an international maybe. Managers get paid to plan and prepare in June. We need to pay a manager in June. We don’t need to pay x amount of new signings to go on their jolly’s, especially when money is tight, and we have to pay the current squad till the end of themonth at least. What’s non league and semi pro got to do with the price chips?

    1. They are wages being throughout June, and indeed for 52 weeks of the year. (I think you’ve just made that one up) 2. I don’t care about other teams. 3. I agree, we do need to appoint a manager. The sooner the better. He will earn his wage in June. 99% Footballers, don’t.
