  1. Very sad news. So sorry to hear this, Terry. Sincere condolences. From our good friend, Mac, also. Take care, look after yourselves and each other. RIP May.
  2. Pity you asked England because. if you'd said Britain, have you seen how close Dundee & Dundee Utd are? It's about a 3 minute walk, and a slow one at that. In England, Chelsea & Fulham are pretty close. Reason for edit: I should have opened and read the link before I mentioned Scotland!
  3. Thanks Diego, now I'm more confused than ever. Has it anything to do with Grimsby's ground being in Cleethorpes, or have I totally lost the plot?
  4. I must be going in the wrong pubs. Still, it makes a change from hijacking the thread to turn it into a Parker / Colbeck / Whitaker / Furman / Uncle Tom Cobley and all slagging off session. Now watch someone come along and do just that.
  5. Failsworth IS part of the Borough of Oldham, but is 0.2 miles nearer to Ashton-u-Lyne than it is to Oldham and is part of the Ashton-u-Lyne Parliamentary constituency. God knows what that proves, I just thought I'd point it out.
  6. Aww, go easy - he's using all the right letters. They're just in the wrong order . I dread to think how it read BEFORE the edit but, even so, this appears to be a thread started by a .
  7. Of course it's for football reasons - the higher he sits, the more chance he has of seeing that big white round thing as it bypasses the midfield.
  8. Me too. My sister-in-law, brother-in-law and nephew were born and bred there and are big Pompey supporters. They're really pissed off, I can tell you.
  9. Nah, it was the dish that ran away with the spoon which, if you think about it is as unlikely Dicketts, er Ricketts signing for us again.
  10. Christ on a bicycle, here we go again. I've also heard that the moon is made of green cheese, the new stadium will be built in the middle of Tandle Hill with 100,000 capacity and van Nistelrooy will soon be signing as an emergency goalkeeper.
  11. Cheers JP; we'll form an orderly queue of in Lever Street, then.
  12. The several thousand Bristol Massive (OK, there's two of us) are coming up for the Millwall game but, for once, leaving the car and coming by train to Piccalilli. Now the Oldham loop line is shut, I guess it's a No 24 or a 181/182 bus. The First web:censored:e (sorry, website) says the 24 goes from Piccadilly, stand F, which appears to be in Lever Street. It gives absolutely no clue at all about where the 181/182 goes from. It seems a far cry from the days when the no 90 used to leave Stevenson Square and go like the clappers non stop to Royton. Anyone help please? And no smart arse answers about save yer dosh and stay in Brizzle; we've already got the chuff chuff tickets. Mods, if this is in the wrong Forum, please feel free to move it.
  13. I think they're on loan, but don't be surprised if one of them makes his debut
  14. I'm just worried about what you were using for shower gel
  15. You're close Diego. When he heard the deal was off, he put his head in his hands and dropped it. Why the hell would he want to play in League 1 when, for some unfathomable reason, he's in with a shout (which his defenders won't hear) of going to South Africa?
  16. As it's now an eveninggame and the Heff has gone since the original post ..... ..... Latics 2-1 Dippers Abbott 3,896
