As much as I'd love a 3+ margin, it's not likely to happen. If you compare the Franchise stats against Latics, they've done better on the road than at Winkleman Towers, but Latics away stats (goalwise) are -4. This suggests that I'd happily settle for scrappy 1-0 win. But one thing is vital - now is the time for every single Latics supporter to get behind Shez and the team, no matter who is selected, and support them every inch of the way. This is no time for the boo brigade to get on the player's backs. Sod what's happened over the past week or two. It's been dealt with; end of. The Championship does not have to be a pipe dream.

It's a line up that sure as hell worked today (other than Deano and Taylor swapping wings), so see no reason to change things.

Taylor played practically all the game on the right with Smalley on the left, but Jones sure made a difference. Hughesy was a different player without Windass there and Kabba was pure quality.

I'd replace Goram with Miskelly and surely there's a place for Branston in there (or Gareth Owen).

Thanks JP. Much appreciated. My debit card was scammed a fortnight ago by the scammers changing the password on my card protect system. God knows how they did that, but the bank were on to it PDQ and refunded the money (over £650) within 48 hours.

My problem's a mixed one, but don't know whether it's a Firefox problem. I can download match highlights and watch it full screen, but there's no download button for extended highlights or interviews and, although I can get all the sound, the visual bits all go in fits and starts, sometimes stalling altogether usually just when Latics are about to score .

Not sure Shez did get it wrong. We'd worked so hard as a unit, every one of them deserved man of the match, and breaking it up with subs might just have unsettled it a bit. Just an opinion.
