rudemedic
He must be gutted the Newcastle job has already been filled . So, Martin O'Neill? He's got to be up there since they've let Allardyce go as he doesn't match their ambitions. Ditto Martin Jol. I think the owners may have an idea and it wouldn't surprise me if it was a properly big name in international football (say Jurgen Klinsmann) TBH though I've rated Big Sam for a while (his bad spell at the Toon has revealed a lot about the Toon since) but he's always been the sort to get a good deal out of average players as opposed to being able to get a lot from expensive ones. jsslatic
Would be surprised if O'Neill took the step down to Blackburn. Likewise Jol, surely both are waiting for a club with an at least remote shot of the Europa League. Chris Hughton?

leeslover
It's a funny one. I don't know anything, but given his history I wouldn't give Fat Sam tuppence of my cash to spend, I wonder???
thelaticsfan
If I was sam i would get involved with the england setup, he could go in as an advisor or coach now, then when fabio steps down he will have every chance of being the next england manager. If I were him I would do the same thing, but with Brazil.
Bristolatic
And Blackburn are in no rush, but want to appoint a British manager. A couple of months? That gives the world, his wife and his dog time to apply. Chris Hughton for me.

Oh good god NO! Ive fallen out love for the National Team as it is – having that Big Twerp ruin it further with his ‘brand’ of football we see me off completely. Strange that they aren’t rushing the next appointment though, what with the Transfer Window looming............i fully expect them to push hard for Martin O’Neill. oafcprozac
What's simon garner or noel brotherstone doing these days? Simon Garner...imprinted in my mind alongside names such as Jimmy Quinn, Keith Edwards, Micky Quinn, etc as players that would ALWAYS score against us!
