The main difference for me is that I feel our last two managers (maybe three, although I have a soft spot for Shez) have just spouted typical "let's get at 'em," style quotes all the time and have given me no confidence whatsoever that we're going anywhere. When LJ says things like, "this group of players can win promotion,"though, I honestly believe him.

I know it's been said before, but it really is an awful indictment of our former fitness coach that a new manager coming in three-quarters of the way through the season had to tell the players to 'give it everything for 70 minutes and then hang on". I always liked Dickov because he seemed like someone who wouldn't stand for any lack of effort from his players, but the fact that they were so unfit suggests otherwise.
