Lee Sinnott Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Any chance we can unlock it so we can keep posting updates on who has croaked... Quote
Zorrro Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 That's 2013, dimlow. I don't want to reopen the other one just in case Rummy chops my hands off or something. Quote
Stevie_J Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I think rummy wants to keep the other thread a clean record of entries, so I've changed the title of this thread to make it the discussion thread. Did anyone have James Avery? Quote
rudemedic Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Don't think so, Ariel Sharon is knocking at the door too. The PPCH could be the key this year, here's hoping that Phil the Greek lasts the year Quote
Matt Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Any chance we can unlock it so we can keep posting updates on who has croaked... Not really, because of the below, but this one will do... I think rummy wants to keep the other thread a clean record of entries, so I've changed the title of this thread to make it the discussion thread. Yes, and thanks. That's 2013, dimlow. Quote
beag_teeets Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I intended to put more effort in but ran out of time. I meant to have Barbara Bush in, she's not long for the world. Quote
24hoursfromtulsehill Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I intended to put more effort in but ran out of time. Same here. Over the past year, I've compiled odds tables; plotted celebrities on a BMI graph; gone through medical histories in detail, including plastic surgery necessitating total knock-out (general anesthetic takes years off you); indexed drug, booze and fag intake; and so on. But science is trumped (as always) by poetry... And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee. ...so in the end I just put 10 names down and guessed a date for big Phil. JoshOWTB Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I had my team nearly complete and was all ready to post at the start of the year but must've missed the bit about the thread being locked this year... Just for fun here is my team anyway: Gazza (Captain)Prince Philip Ozzy Osbourne Justin Beiber Ronnie CorbettRolf Harris Harper Lee John Cleese Shane MacGowan Kim Jong Un PPCH - 20th November Quote

opinions4u Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Opportunity missed with Phil Everley. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-25601185 Quote
24hoursfromtulsehill Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Phil Everley goes into the didn't-realise-he-was-still-alive category. Sixties popsters feature reasonably heavily in people's picks too. RIP. Quote
JoshOWTB Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Josh, I would imagine that after last years duck-of-a-list, every celebrity wants to be in your squad this year... It's too easy to pick the obvious ones! This year will be a clean sweep Quote
opinions4u Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) Eusebio has gone. Missed a trick there, he would have been odds on. Ariel Sharon likely join him later. Edited January 5, 2014 by opinions4u Quote
Zorrro Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Did anyone make a last minute switch to Paul Goggins? Quote
24hoursfromtulsehill Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Did anyone make a last minute switch to Paul Goggins? Didn't see that one coming. Fit as a flea (for a 60-year-old) and not a massive drinker, unlike my parliamentary man. Never send to know for whom the bell tolls... Quote
