opinions4u
I've not racked up many cricket grounds. Old Trafford Buxton Trent Bridge Durham I think that's it, so nice to add another.
ceskylatic
Durham won the toss and decided to bat Durham 1st Innings 340 all out (99.0 overs) Lancashire 1st Innings 421 all out (131.3 overs) Durham 2nd Innings 187 all out (77.1 overs) Lancashire 2nd Innings 107 for 9 (35.4 overs) Fookin hell that was close!!!! Oafc1895
For me Jos is too far down the order at 7. IMO it should be Buttler at 5, croft 6, Clark 7 then Horton
opinions4u
Cracking day. Gobsmacked Flintoff got to play in the final and his bowling was :censored:e. Got mighty close to winning it with the bat though.
jsslatic
Brilliant day. Brilliant brilliant day. Don't think any sport can build up over such a length of time to a crescendo like that other than cricket. If Fred had got us over the line it would have been perfect but alas. leeslover
I can't fathom how they thought the other lower order batsmen had a better chance of heaving it out of the ground with 3 overs to go. It was a superb day though. Magic fruit salad is the way forward.

disjointed
Little git has cost me a small fortune with his GCSE results. Good on him, makes you proud doesn't it. Wait until you are forking out for uni.
opinions4u
Good on him, makes you proud doesn't it. Wait until you are forking out for uni. Yay. Yes, I've been doing a bit of research and discovered that student loan amounts are completely inadequate to cover accommodation, food and study materials. At least the child benefit stops at that time, just to help!
Frankly Mr Shankly
Kyle Hogg has been forced to retire through a long-standing back injury today. Just a couple of days after his mums funeral. What a servant he's been during a 13 year county career. A brilliant 2009 season when we won the title the definite highlight. Hope he lines something up career-wise soon as I'm sure he will. rudemedic
Yorks captain in very hot water. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/counties/11102567/Yorkshire-captain-Andrew-Gale-charged-with-using-racist-and-abusive-language-towards-Lancashires-Ashwell-Prince.html Think they should forfeit the game as part of their punishment

opinions4u
Middlesex 214 all out. I'm a bit sketchy on the points thing, but if I've got this right: 1) Lancs need to get 300 or more in the first 110 overs of their first innings. 2) They need to restrict Middlesex to 8 wickets or less in those 110 overs. 3) Lancs need to go on and win the game. Have I got that right? Get to 300 for 8 and you'd declare! Edited September 23, 2014 by opinions4u
