NewBlue
Last seasons average home attendance was 4,349 including away fans. The hard core home supporters equate to approximately 1.5% of the population figure. Interesting. I wonder if that's the lowest of any club in relation to their town in the football league Cambridge, Rochdale, Wycombe, Exeter and Northampton are the competitors for that unwanted crown if I was to guess. BP1960
I believe the biggest UK town without a league football club is Dudley, (312,925 at the last count). Don't know what their football club average gate is though. Salford, Warrington, Maidstone and Gateshead are similar in population to Oldham I guess. Diego_Sideburns
Average home attendance was 3,414 (home fans only). For L1 games only - 3,645 3,431 = 1.5% of population figure and of course the attendance figures includes exiles.

None of the other contenders have been in the Greedy League.

jimsleftfoot
What's birmingham's %ge then? A population of over 1m but not sure about boundaries and are they a multi club city? Clubs like Leyton Orient must have a pretty bad population to attendance ratio.
Lukers1
I cut my holiday short in Canada to make the Liverpool game, it was worth it for about 5 mins when we were 1 up
MAC0AFC
What's birmingham's %ge then? I'd guess we were just going off towns, rather than city's! Although we do have the population of a small city in fairness.
