midnite315 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 As jake kean has a knee injury and could be out for Crewe game who you stick with Joel Coleman or bring in replacement and who would it be
WIZZO83 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I would like to see Coleman start, he will be the first youth team player to start for the club in a long time......
Chris Richard Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Coleman. He didn't have too much to do on Tues but he seemed confident and his kicking is far better than Kean
Handsy Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 If we don't get cover in on loan which I don't think we will who will be back up on the bench for Coleman or do we risk it and don't have a goalie on the bench
blueatheart Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I would like to see Coleman start, he will be the first youth team player to start for the club in a long time...... Apart from Winchester?

Didn't we just have Gary Kelly under Richie as our only keeper?
Twisbrogan Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Coleman. At some stage we need to find out about whether players can make the step up and behind what, at least, will be a back line with experience it represents an opportunity to do this. He may make mistakes but Kean has been making plenty, Kenny made plenty and the next loanee could make plenty. What he will do though is look to launch attacks - stick him in.
Handsy Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Every keeper makes mistakes the good ones make the least I say stick him in and give him a run of games let's see what he's got
Oafc88 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Is Coleman the keeper that was attracting interest from some bigger clubs? Or was that someone else? Edited March 19, 2015 by Oafc88
midnite315 Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 How about bringing luke Simpson in as cover as unattached and now had some league experience with Accrington and is u attached
WIZZO83 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Winchester was a youth team player 5 years ago.......
Diego_Sideburns Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Rachubka to play against Latics on Saturday.
deyres42 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 How about bringing luke Simpson in as cover as unattached and now had some league experience with Accrington and is u attached You musn't have seen the goals he was conceding at Accrington...

the_mighty_bosh Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Holden said on LP that discussions are going on with the board about the keeper situation as Kean is likely to be out on Saturday. Sounds like we're looking for another keeper.
RoytonLatics Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Winchester was a youth team player 5 years ago....... Dickov started a young winger whilst he was here, can't remember his name but he was released shortly after
PatchLatics Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Dickov started a young winger whilst he was here, can't remember his name but he was released shortly after Sutherland? Connor Hughes?
Crusoe Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Apart from Winchester? Joe Cooper, vs Shrewsbury, April 2013 Danny Gosset, vs Orient, April 2013 Glenn Belezika, vs Yeovil, April 2013 (although he'd been at another club before) Chris Sutherland, vs Notts County, January 2013 And more beyond that. Bembo-Leta, etc.
BP1960 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) In the youths I thought Coleman looked a promising keeper, but a bit headstrong coming out for crosses. Edited March 19, 2015 by BP1960
oafc-latics Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Whoever we have in net, the tactic should be to shoot on sight against Rachubka. He never looked confident with long shots.

dec666 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 The goal went through a couple of players but it was right down the middle. Coleman did ok, came for a couple of crosses that he didn't get near but made one decent save and didn't have much to do otherwise.
