sjk2008
Here’s the run in for each team chasing that 6th and final playoff spot. I’ve not included anyone below Bradford, as I don’t think they’ve got a prayer. Even if we made it, we’d be extremely fortunate. Current Top 6 Chasing Pack Peterborough United Coventry City (H) Scunthorpe United (A) Walsall (H) Swindon Town (A) Crewe Alexandra (H) Barnsley (A) Crawley Town (H) Oldham Athletic (A) Barnsley Bristol City (A) Sheffield United (H) Colchester United (A) Chesterfield (H) Notts County (A) Peterborough United (H) Bradford City (A) Rochdale (H) Rochdale Yeovil Town (H) Preston North End (A) Port Vale (H) Doncaster Rovers (A) Swindon Town (H) Gillingham (A) Leyton Orient (H) MK Dons (H) Barnsley (A) Doncaster Rovers Bradford City (H) Sheffield United (A) Rochdale (H) Leyton Orient (A) Fleetwood Town (H) MK Dons (A) Notts County (A) Scunthorpe United (H) Fleetwood Town Preston North End (H) Gillingham (A) Yeovil Town (H) Walsall (A) MK Dons (H) Doncaster Rovers (A) Colchester United (H) Port Vale (A) Oldham Athletic Bradford City (A) Bristol City (H) Crawley Town (A) Sheffield United (H) Coventry City (A) Chesterfield (H) Walsall (A) Peterborough United (H) Chesterfield Walsall (H) Bradford City (A) Yeovil Town (A) Crewe Alexandra (H) Barnsley (A) Colchester United (H) Oldham Athletic (A) Bristol City (H) Sheffield United (A) Bradford City Oldham Athletic (H) Chesterfield (H) Doncaster Rovers (A) Preston North End (H) Gillingham (A) Bristol City (H) Sheffield United (A) Scunthorpe United (A) Barnsley (H) Crewe Alexandra (A) Edited March 25, 2015 by sjk2008

Or we let them win to keep Barnsley out Edited March 25, 2015 by Blue_Guru
SavageTheBeast
Fleetwood seem to have the best run in
Stevie_J
Looks fairly clear that Peterborough will do it. I was just about to post pretty much the same before reading your post. You've got to fancy Posh, looking at those fixtures.
owdumer
The other factor to consider is that a lot of teams are going to be fighting for points to avoid relegation. Sometimes the best teams to be playing in the latter weeks are those that are drifting towards mid table finishes.
IceStationLatic
Peterborough's to lose looking at that. Home games against strugglers and winnable away games to boot. But pressure can do funny things. Ours is a hell of lot tougher, but momentum is powerful and if we have even a sniff of the play-offs I'll think we'll surprise rivals with our away mob and spirit. I know we ain't Dortmund's ultras, but we can be very loud and there's something unique about our motley crew. If we sneak a win on Sat, we can then get three out of Bristol and Crawley and still have a sniff...

If we can win 5 on the bounce it would give us a sniff. Sadly, 5 on the spin is something that doesn't often happen in football - even more so if you are a Latics fan. Last time we did this? cornishblue
Peterborough have 3 very winnable games coming up and could be out of sight post Easter especially if they win against Swindon. IMO it is theirs to throw away. We could all dissect each game from all teams and try and predict the results but games come thick and fast this time of the season, form dips, injuries & suspensions occur, it has proven all season any team on their day can beat anyone in this division also there will be points dropped when teams play each other. All we can do is look to the next game and hope we get a win and the teams around us start falling away. We now have back to back wins and go to Bradford full of confidence another 3 points and who knows, the injuries are slowly coming back and the loan signings DH has made seem to clicking and gelling nicely. As always until we are mathematically unable to get into the Play Offs then I for one will be Keeping the Faith.
Stainrod
Look, we play Peterborough at home, if we take a bold standpoint and say we will win that one then we are only one point behind them with seven games left. Game on in my view. It's about attitude and belief which I think Holden is doing his best to instil, something he was ridiculed for on this board a couple of games ago! Dave_Og
And professionals are tired after a couple of games in a week..http://gameofthepeople.com/2015/04/05/glossop-need-to-ease-their-congestion-before-wembley/ I think that is just a tabloid misinterpretation of a perfectly reasonable point. It's no tthat they are more tired than, say a bloke who does a 12 hour shift in a factory - but it is far to say that if they play twice a week then they are unlikely to be at their absolute peak given the bumps and bruises that will be accumulated. I'm sure clubs could put teams out seven days a week but the quality will suffer, Edited April 9, 2015 by Dave_Og
ChaddySmoker
Can we just write the season off now? Send back all the loan players and put the kids in!
