Stevie_J
It's a big day in the prediction league calendar tomorrow, with LaticsPete and Stevie_J going head-to-head in the Prediction League Cup showpiece. The cup competition, which has lost none of its magics, will be a welcome distraction from the league, following the recent prediction-fixing scandal. Underdog, Stevie_J will barely believe his luck to have made it this far and strong favourite LaticsPete will fancy his chances of finishing the season with his first piece of silverware. Ex_pat
What a great advertisement for the competition. A championship side winning the cup. Well done Stevie, I can't wait for your next post with your declaration of you being the cup winner for this season.
Stevie_J
Finally completed the 48-hour cup winning bender. What a feeling. Never dreamed I'd be getting my hands on any silverware this season, especially when league form has been way short of expectations all season. I have the utmost respect for LaticsPete; he was always going to be a tough opponent in the final and with a terrible attendance prediction I thought I might be in trouble. His class is there for all to see in the graceful reaction to what must be a painful defeat. To run out 3-0 winners on the day is unbelievable. Just to arrange the open top bus and the new signature now...
