Can't afford Mouldy Old Dough. Performing Rights Society put the bill for playing it up to £3900 from £700 in 2009.

 

I thought if the club had its PPL they could play what they wanted without paying any additional fees?

PPL is based on aggregate annual attendances. OAFC might be about 150000 which is about £430 plus 20% for music that emphasizes incident.

 

Venues with an aggregated annual attendances of 1m people would be charged £3000.

It may have been the early 70's, but they didn't look the youngest group on Top of the Pops if I recall correctly.

I'm sure someone on here will know if they are still standing.

think the lead was on radio two the other nigh discussing his other song writing work so thats gone but suspect the old lady who played one of the two pianos on totp may no longer be with us
