Latics and England
With Connor likely to clean up at tonight's awards dinner (though I actually think Clarkey should get POTS), is he put most influential loanee ever? I have very little doubt that we would have gone down without him which gives him a very strong claim on the title. The only real competitor I can think of is Luke Beckett. His goals completely turned that season around. Edited May 1, 2017 by Latics and England

Blue_Guru
Neil's Kilkenny & Lee Croft first time round were a good use of the loan system!

opinions4u
Gerrard last season. Real positive impact on that defence and Coleman.
Scapegoat
Last season a combination of Gerrard, Main and Palmer were all critical in keeping us up This season, it feels like the loan players were less impactful and our success was more about getting the most out of the existing squad (admittedly that included some loans e.g. Erwin). In previous seasons I recall Kilkenny and Croft appearing to transform our team into one full of attacking verve and confidence.
