Most influential loanee

Recommended Posts

With Connor likely to clean up at tonight's awards dinner (though I actually think Clarkey should get POTS), is he put most influential loanee ever?

I have very little doubt that we would have gone down without him which gives him a very strong claim on the title.

The only real competitor I can think of is Luke Beckett. His goals completely turned that season around.

Ian Marshall, Neil Adams

Was Marshy on loan? His loan spell wasnt really influential if so from memory? He was influential later obviously

Adams had 2 months?

Last season a combination of Gerrard, Main and Palmer were all critical in keeping us up

This season, it feels like the loan players were less impactful and our success was more about getting the most out of the existing squad (admittedly that included some loans e.g. Erwin).

In previous seasons I recall Kilkenny and Croft appearing to transform our team into one full of attacking verve and confidence.
