Hence the no assist. In TFF language, it's a key contribution and to me was more skilful than the assist itself. Please sign EION. ?

oafcshuck
Don't want to go OTT but again last night he looked a class above. He's fast (ish), can finish, puts a shift in but thing i've noticed more than anything these last few weeks is his hold up play. Something we haven't had for years. The amount of balls that go up to him, that he holds and will either get a throw in and lay the ball off is quite incredible. Half of it comes down to how good his touch is. Starting to feel he's one of the best strikers we've ever had in this league. Porter, Beckett and Hughes are obviously all up there. If we can keep hold of him and he bags 20, he'll join and surpass them. Really starting to think he's our best striker in 20 years though .... But sometimes that can happen to any player at this level, when he was one on one with the keeper there was only going to be one outcome though. Lee Sinnott
He is absolutely superb. I had my doubts because his goals return hasn't been great since he left Chesterfield, but he has been absolutely fantastic for us...

Agree with this he is a really good player but you need to bare in mind he is playing in an attacking team with some quality in Byrne behind him. The way we have played for last few years he would have looked as rubbish as the rest as service to front two has been dire as we have largely been a defensive team. Anyway playing like we are id be surprised if he didn’t get 10/12 before Xmas
League one forever
He certainly bucks the trend of the strikers graveyard. .
