Nowadays you don't see any, and Latics matches are rarely advertised in the Tameside Reporter. Some Tameside (who have no league teams) towns like Mossley, Ashton under Lyne and Stalybridge may be actually closer to BP in mileage than some Boroughs of Oldham. A potential untapped source of revenue right on Latics doorstep.

The fact is the same two strikers won't be playing a full season together so it will need several combinations throughout. I think the manager will have his eye on a big target man as an alternative to his present strikers when required.

I think the manager will be looking for more consistency from the midfield than he has got this season (apart from the excellent Mark Allott). I expect a new signing with that in mind.

I saw him come on as substitute for Bournemouth and tear Latics apart, why a player of such immense talent was only sub no one seems to know.
