  1. The best thing about Rivals was being able to get involved on other teams board (and vice versa).
  2. I do get that, what I don't get is the warm round of applause they get certainly from the pockets of people around where I am in the North Stand (though perhaps not where Only Blue sits).
  3. No criticism of those who came but for the away fans as individuals, attending a game of football isn't an achievement. For the away club as a collective, the away followings are pitiful. We never used to congratulate small numbers of away fans for going to watch a game when we were in the league. What's changed? I just find it very, very bizarre.
  4. To be fair the previous managers would have had better records if they'd replied to their emails.
  5. On a semi-related note, I cannot understand why week in week out our fans applaud these pathetic away followings. Teams literally bringing numbers you could fit on a coach - most of which are probably family and friends of the 11 on the pitch. Last night Bromley brought what 35 fans. They're second in the fucking league. They had 3,000 in at home at the weekend. It's laughable. When we were in just L2 the paltry followings would be derided. What's changed to make these 'followings' worthy of acclaim?
  6. Yes I think we all agree Mohammed recruited non-league standard players.
  7. Finish 2nd. Switch the fixture to Spotland to help them out.
  8. Yes to be fair you can still buy tickets for the game they played against Maidenhead on Saturday.
  9. To be fair that game was two weeks ago. I'm all for maximising revenue where possible but fair's fair.
  10. Was this the Port Vale game when Adrian Littlejohn assaulted Pogs? Cost us promotion that.
  11. I'm sure attendance will also be impacted by our five results between now and then.
  12. In things I didn't expect to see - nonaenever channelling the life and spirit of Chris Lees.
  13. I don't think those Chester comments will be different to many on here in the early part of last season. He scored 7 by mid-December. I'm assuming he was top scorer at that point and I think until yesterday Norwood was the only one to get to that marker this season. Shame it hasn't worked out but good luck to the guy.
  14. Throw Eastleigh into the mix too, who appear to have moved from play off contenders at Christmas to looking over their shoulder.
  15. From last year I'd buy in advance if definitely going. They literally had a child and his grandad on two cash turnstiles and it took ages to get in.
  16. I think you'll find James Berry would. Unless he'd been signed by Real Madrid first.
  17. My bigger concern is the ground being full of anyone. Going to be absolute carnage on the North Stand concourses.
  18. Dropped bollock that - we should have just made it POTD and locked the extras out.
