One interesting aspect of The Chron's coverage is the on-line feedback on various stories. Following the 'Plot Holders Dig in, etc' story there were quite a number of comments. About 8 were critical of The Chron's coverage with 2 comments supporting the editorial line. In today's paper The Chron printed 2 comments, 1 in favour and 1 critical. Talk about bias reporting! Moreover, in today’s paper there is also an editorial criticising Latics for daring to question The Chron! What is going on at the paper? Is Jim Williams, who I remember as a Latics reporter years ago, still the editor?

As long as we get a stadium that can easily be expanded to a capacity of 15,000+ I'll be happy. Money and need permitting of course!

Dean Furman moves from Scotland to England this year and we have to pay £50k compensation. Why? The rules can't be different for Scotland and England?

From the rarely wrong Chron. Athletic have disciplined three employees following the function at the dog track. The club has not named them but is understood captain Sean Gregan has been fined the maximum amount of two weeks wages while Sheridan and Hughes have been severely censured and warned as to their future conduct.

The whole point of writing a blog is that it's your blog, your views, your opinions. I can just about accept being misquoted in the tabloids or lost in translation - but misquoted in a blog! Come on! I'm now waiting for Latics side of the story, about how Windars has made 10 appearances out of a possible 11 in only 2 months. The fact that he has scored only 1 goal, which averages out at 4 or 5 goals a season.
