    I'm sorry to see him go but it's a move that was always on the cards and he is probably easier to replace than Taylor. As many have said, he would probably have gone at the end of the season and we recieved a payment for him when it would have been possible to get nothing. Good luck Neil apart from when/if you play against us. At least we won't have a player unavailable in international weeks.

    I feel really strange about tomorrow. Last year I thought we would do well and for 2/3 of the season did. The last third really hurt. Perhaps I shut out the feelings towards the end of last season and it has carried over. Not sure how we will do but I'm bringing 6 Thai students with me as well as 3 mates. The Thai's are paying a visit to the Red Sox stadium in the morning. I wonder what they'll think of BP after that.

    I really can't understand anyone who says this would stop them going. I'm a season ticket holder from Lincoln and every game is an away game for me. Get real!!!!

    I think it said on the official site that an embargo on reporting the details of Friday's meeting was in place until Wednesday. The club are thus releasing the statement as soon as Wednesday starts The rarely wrong Chron appeared to break this agreement with their antics last week. Why does the Chron seem so anti Latics?

    Whilst I was on a training course at RAF Cosford the guy in the next room to me really was called Willie Ankers. He didn't play for Latics though nor did he support us.

    If we built a joint stadium with another local club halfway between the two it would be a positive step for the long term viability of both clubs. I would love a complete redevelopment of BP but it appears that for various reasons that will not happen.

    A small sentence in today's Daily Mail says that MK Dons are interested in Hughes. If this is true many in the country would hate them even more!
