In short no, i think he activity has shown we have no ambition to get out of this league! Now everyone can spout on about we aint gunna get the sigings on 4,500 at home games rubbish but the truth is our FA Cup run brought in a lot of money, the trotman sale brought in money and i dont believe once the development is sold and ground is built there wont be a spare couple of pennys left over! In short we have a bit of money, more money than expected, you can even thow the portergate scandal in their (no one believed trotters would come on like he did and sell him on for 500k) Now at the beggining of the season we were lead to believe more sigings/more signifficent would have come in if it wasnt for porter - now we have more money than expected and we still dont spend. You cant be succesfull when the majority of the team is on loan and still only 60% -70% fit. I dont believe we would have done much this season whoever we signed but this was the time to start looking at next season. The success in this league comes when you have a big squad who have been round together for a while and dont need much gelling in - generally players who are in contract and not on loan. Yet come the end of this mid table season we will be left short again with contracts up, players leaving, players being bought from us, and loan signings ending. Then start again with a drastically new squad, we have a crap start to the season and shez comes out with his usuall comments "we need time to gel" Sorry rant over!

Largely dissapointed, i know a lot of Shez's efforts have been scuppered by events he cannot control, but i feel we have no real signifficant changes that will improve our position. Livermore one month deal bought a player in which is already a competetive area.. Jarrett umm had a good game against carlisle and is more creative than the rest but what we needed was a striker and we failed to bag one... i know 2 went astray but that happens in football, we should of been more prepared.

good player... now we can try taylor on the right and put davies just behind hughesy upfron... injuries permitting... would be nice for a striker to put the cherry on top

Think for most players we are last option so we may see developments at about 11:45pm..... we cant give the players the wages they want thus players are holding out for better deals...

Problem lies here with bad policing. A few huddersfield fans thought it would be funny to run into the litten tree and start a fight with 4 oldham fans.... at this point (about 1ish) the police should have thought ummm we had better not let both sets of fans out at the same time.... i said this after we played udders last season at home. both sets of fans lower looker(who have the banter) and are usually alcohol fuelled (as the lookers is the only drinknin area) and the rochdale rd end (again a drinkin area) both being let out of the ground at the same time and heading towards each other! Dont take the brain of brittain to work out what will likely happen!!

I agree get rid of him... I love this league and like the club have no ambition to get out of it whats the point when you can grow talent sell the players make the $$ have a cup run everynow and then, build a development make even more dollars makes total business sense. After all that is what we are!! Aint it??

Davies is a great talent and will prevail into a quality striker.... It must be frustrating trying to live upto early expectations especially when hughesie came into the squad.... People forget he is only a youngster and talented one at that. Im going to put him down to bag a few at the udders game!

There is still time yet, as someone else has already mentioned majority of transfers will go through on the last couple of days/hours. The players worth having will draw it out till the last minute.

Got family in Havant (id usually have said Portsmouth but seen as though theyre famous everyone knows where it its) Havant & Waterlooville's ground is round the corner from where i go, seen them a couple of times in the Blue Square South.... Rocky Baptiste now he would solve our striker problem.

Big Sam deserved more time he is a quality manager and the proof is that he guided a mediocre team to europe, look at oneil last season, he was given the time he needed and now look at them, what are the odds on keegan being gone by the end of the season and being replaced by Arthur Cox
