Not sure about some of your ratings but then again that's what it's all about - opinion. Stam was superb at the back - Lomax less so - Maher and Allott looked solid in the middle but Taylor was the real threat up front - Byfield did okay and definitely gives us a different option - pacy too. Stam 9 Lomax 7 Allott 8 Maher 8 Byfield 7 Taylor 9 but a definite improvement over lately and a good second half too. Hughes second booking was debateable but the frst was pure stupidity. Love it

Sense never had anything to do with it - if it did I would have put all the money I have spent on latics over the years into premium bonds. Incidentally - for us older folk, that is a lot of money and absolutely no sense whatsoever

300 - 400 on Sauturday I reckon - just look at the results from the last four away league games - it does affect the fans who are prepared to travel when we are getting beaten again and again - time to stop the rot methinks

Got to agree with lags - the vast majority of fans give great support - a few boo boys who don't - just like any other club - stop giving the boo boys any credibility - and they may just slink away...

Exactly my thoughts too! Someone once said: 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going' - that's what we need now - all pulling in the same direction. The last six weeks have been diffcult to take because of the preceeding two months being so successful - that's why we are concerned. Starting with Stockport we have played 8 games winning 2 (against the teams at the top and the bottom of the league...) drawn 2 and lost 4. But more significantly we have not shown a true spirit or cohesiveness in many of the games. We proved against a good Scunthorpe team and a good Leicester side that we can compete. I will be there on Saturday at Northampton - a mere 90 minutes from where I live - let's hope that the other 90 minutes proves worthwhile. I thought of a good slogan that we should all adopt: 'Keep the Faith' - Has a certain ring to it doesn't it?

Nothing wrong as far as I am concerned - I love the idea that fans can support local non league teams as well - I hope that us and Curzon get through to the third round and we get them at BP - I would welcome a few thousand Mancs supporting the non leaguers then!

I have to say how heartily sick and tired I am of the 'I heard from a good source' rumours. If you cannot name names then I'd rather not hear the rumour. Either put up or shut up.

If we play Eardley, Hazel, Stam. Lomax as the back four then I would be okay with that

Hey RBL - not Wolf bashing at all - I am a great fan as previous posts indicate- the comment was more that I was baffled he was not in the squad - I hope (daft I know) but I hope the reason is that he is carrying an injury

So we have two strikers out on loan and a third suspended but still the Wolf cannot get into an eighteen man squad - sheeesh!

I was at the Killers Albert Hall concert last night - the standing tickets were in the main the same price as for the majority of the seating. It struck me that that might be an option at BP - charge the same to stand as to sit so the club gets the same income - what do y'all think?

Is that actually ture - that there is standing at City? If so then I suggest we introduce this and see how it goes.
