The England game kick off is good timing , after we thrash Tranmere we will realise after watching England just how good we are.

A tough league !! - We played Port Vale , Walsall, Bury , Shrewsbury and Huddersfield amongst others. Hardly a tough reserve league. Yes we played a lot of youngsters because of injuries but that will stand them better for the future than the current set up of friendlies and a few cup games. I think this has been a major error of judgement on the managements part this season and hopefully it wont come back to haunt us.

Couldn't understand why he didn't bring Chaddy on second half. His half time performance was awesome and he would have stirred their back 4 up !!!!! Seriously though , I was a little disappointed in Shez last night. I think the game was there for the taking if we were a little more positive. It was obvious after 15 mins that 4-5-1 wasn't working yet he only changed it as you say after 70 when were were 2 down. Sometimes the club don't help themselves - on one hand SC moans about lack of support and the financial implications it may have. On the other hand we waste the opportunity to have a real go in a competition like this and maybe get a plum draw next round !!!

About the eaiest game you will ever get to ref. To be fair to Cheltenham they were outclassed but didn't resort to thug tactics. In fact i think we conceded more fouls than them. Only thing i wish they would change this stupid offside rule - Players chase through balls becos they think they are on cos the flag stays down , then as soon as they get the ball it goes up. It's obvious they are chasing the ball and the linesman knows he is off but he can't put his flag up until he gets it. Totally absurd !!!!!!!!

I don't smoke but the way latics play sometimes it makes you want to start ! Why don't they put a temporary stand on the broadway side like Blackpool did and have smoking allowed. See how many turn up and if it is not successful then give it the away fans.

Saturdays game will be a good test of how much stronger we are. Beating Leeds was the equivalent of last season so on that basis we are no better off points wise. Our failing has always been beating teams like Cheltenham. In the last 4 seasons we have lost very few points against the top 6 - but the bottom 6 have constantly taken more points off us than we have gained from them.Something that needs to be corrected if we are serious about promotion. 3-0 i reckon with hughsey scoring his first 2 of the season.

Look at the proposals for Evertons new ground - next to a Tesco store. Can you imagine the choas on match days there . These planners are absolute w*nkers. Unfortuuantely it is a great british disease - Planners give absolute no consideration to those who attend the events. Nearly every sporting event in this country is a disaster in terms of accessability.

well i think you may be right for a few years anyway. With land prices dropping and current capacity enough for any league games then i think it will be a few years before work starts. Should have left it until land sale and everything else was agreed , or sue the useless council for dragging their heels for 2 years over the plans.

Why are all these new grounds a nightmare to get too. They all appear to be designed with supporters last on the list of thoughts ?? Parking is virtually non extistant and public transport is limited. How do they expect people to get there.

I notice on the club web site that you have to pay tonight becos it is classed as a cup tie. As the reserves are not in a league that will mean we have to pay for every match. Devalued the season ticket there - shame on you robbing us poor supporters. Have we got Bates back !!

It has not stopped Blackpool from progressing and they only had 2 and a bit stands. Capacity problems would be a nice problem to have !!!!!!!

Saturday was an execptional day becos the £27 i refused to put into masterbates grubby hands i invested £10 in latics to win and a little yankee on the horses that produced £194. I have just watched the football league action on ITV - Amazing how many teams have the same away shirts as us- Must have used the same poll result we had on our web sites for the away colours CHOICE !!! (ha ha ha) - They said the fans have voted for it - what a farce. More like the shirt manufacturers have told us what colours we are having. It is the only thing spoiling this season so far - :censored:e away shirts.

6 games would be better , complete disgrace and badly let the side down. We were well in control and 2 or 3 nil at that stage was easily on. Instead he put his team thru extra time and penalties. Thankfully they got him out of jail with a real gritty performance. What was really annoying was it was hUghes that fouled the rochdale man then Davies ran 50 yards to get involved. The ref was holding him back by the arm for a least 2 minutes and as soon as he let go he walked over and head butted the player 3 yards from the ref. Brain dead doesn't even begin to sum it up. When his 6 games ban is over - Sell him !!!!!!! IF ANYBODY IS DAFT ENOUGH TO BUY HIM!!!!!!!

I think City are in it. As far as i am aware it is only teams that automatically qualify for europe (ie league and cup placings) that are exempt. City only went in thru fair play so they should be in draw ?

I got it for my birthday -totally agree with above - would have felt a bit cheated if i had bought it myself. Pricey for whats in it.
