    I met chris in Gaucho on Friday night and got talking to him and mentioned we needed a striker. He know PD and GT and tetx his agen that night. His mrs wants him in the North West plus the fact that he wasn't playing at Watford made him interested in coming to Oldham. He seemed a genuine bloke and took a lot of interest about Latics. If he is a hit I'll take the credit, if he is pants I'll leave the country!!

    I like Cisak but he doesn't command the box like Bouzanis. The defence always look a little nervous with the long bouncing ball as Alex does not take control.

    I agree. LP has been so poor this season. Being away in the RAF it's my life line to the club but I will cancel my subscription if it doesn't improve ASAP.

    He has done the right thing. Stayed diplomatic and backed his players. SC was just venting. Best way for PD to reply is with 3 points Saturday.

    In today's People it is saying that PD wants to bring back Lee Hughes (who apparently is staying in a local hotel) but is up against members of the board who are against it. Also if Lee Camp leaves Forest they will "swoop" for Alex Cisak. All on page 57.

    Who cares if you "boycott" the game! Just means an extra seat for a City fan and their £15. Good on Latics for organising this game and getting an extra cash boost. Lets look at the positive instead of the negative just for once!

    I totally agree with what's been said here. I'm down at Wycombe in the RAF so see more away games than home. Sime of Our "fans" were more bothered about getting drunk and slagging the team off. We have a small inexperienced squad and we need to get behind them. PD has no money to bring anyone else in hence Robbie being played out on the wing! While it is frustrating for us it must be more do for PD trying to work miracles with his hands tied.

    Just got back as I am based in Wilts and 'tho there were some terrible decisions by the officials (especially the over weight linesman in front of us!) we were poor. Lots of huff and puff today but no skill. We need a play maker in centre midfield who can dictate the game. Dickov must have kicked off with the ref at HT as he was in the main stand for the 2nd half.

    I'm hoping the new stand will become the new main stand with all new mod cons attached. That way re-furb work can start on the "old" main stand and then Chaddy End etc. This is the most positive step we have had in a while so we should embrace it. After all the majority of people on here were against moving away from BP. Good luck Simon and well done on all the hard work so far. As for OMBC...do not let us or the town down!

    Really enjoyed the game and glad we didn't panic after going one down so early. Young lad from Arsenal looked good with some neat touches.

    I'm sorry for Shez, he truly had Latics at heart and he did a good job but just lacked that little bit extra needed to get us promoted. All the best John and I wish you well for the future.
