  1. I can now see both sides but I went for the latter.
  2. I read that comment differently...……..opinions, eh!!!
  3. Dear god, your anti AL position know no bounds. I would argue that his stance may be the polar opposite of Corney's insofar that his agent's brain would see potential and development in greater financial terms rather than a quick buck.
  4. I'm sure we would have heard if they weren't so just let it lie and stop looking around for that stick to beat AL up with.
  5. Can we not just relax in the knowledge that the players have been paid instead of having a bluddy competition to see who can stir up next month's crap....if it happens?
  6. Can we just leave this subject alone for a couple of weeks. AL has paid the wages on time, which is what we ALL wanted, so why start making waves when there is no need?
  7. No need to apologise for having a different opinion or thinking I'm annoyed...….which I'm not. There are more important matters to get angry about.
  8. Have you got anything to back that up? As for tetchy you, and your alter ego, haven't stopped whimpering whenever someone criticises Sheridan.
  9. I have to disagree here. 1) He had a budget and spent poorly. The money spent on wages for Coke and COG could have got us a useful sub. 2) Lack of motivation is down to him. I think a low wage and a short contract is a good enough reason to perform for the next contract. 3) Rhodes leaving and late wages are nothing to do with the crap we've had early season.
  10. But Wellens managed to integrate some into the team, with limited success...…..Placide until his head went after his family bereavement, Nepo until Wellens thought Pringle was a better bet and Moimbe until his brainfart.
  11. I struggle to take in that it was AL's intervention in Wellens' team selection that put Pringle wide left instead of Nepo and shoving a disinterested Byrne wide right. I'm not saying I'm right and you are wrong, more it doesn't stack up. If I was AL, I would have been asking why, when I've providing the tools in Byrne and Doyle (use of the word "tools" here can be interpreted in whatever way suits your argument), you can't get them playing the way you did in September.
  12. Evidence perhaps to back this point? AL has been around for 3 managers. Sheridan walked/alledgedly pushed under Corney's tenure after a shockingly poor start. Wellens lost the plot and took us down after a bright start, Bunn has never got the team going and we have slowly slid down the table. SO....which winning manager has he got rid of to back up your point? And please don't start bleating over Sheridan again.....you constantly repeat yourself and don't offer anything new.
  13. Bit harsh......the lad in the ticket office who posts tickets out seems a thoroughly decent chap!!!
  14. So why do they get all the sh*t they do from their own fans? You make it sound like the fans are in the wrong.
  15. He would be in a no lose situation here. Be successful and make yourself a wanted man AND have a fair chance of getting paid. OR Sitting on the bog every day reading the Sun and definitely NOT getting paid. That's why nobody ever turns down a job with a "92" club.
  16. But would he have the same problems? I would say no, but others may differ.
  17. My original point was did he achieve success in spite of or because of the Oystons?
  18. But didn't Bowyer walk for exactly the same reasons?
  19. And our situation would be just as good if we got a good manager. Let's hope the next is not a Barry recommendation.
  20. Disagree, any success there has happened despite the Oystens and not because of. Think Corney X a factor of 10 on the dodgy scale.
  21. Because our circus is equivalent to Chipperfields and theirs is Russian State.
