  1. And if he does go, there will be plenty on here who would want him kicked all over the pitch!!!
  2. I have and it's usually the grumbly, gobby ones who make everyone aware.
  3. You dark horse/stallion (DELETE WHERE APPLICABLE), you!!!
  4. What are you actually getting from the bottom!!!
  5. Couple of questions...…why were they prepared to accept late wages under Corney but not under Lemsagem?
  6. Has anybody got verified proof of what has gone on and why he's suspended? Because 5 pages in and I'm still reading guesswork!!! So far, we've had: - he doesn't want to play in this division. - he doesn't like FB's training regime. - he lashed out deliberately at Fane and refuses to apologise. - he accidently broke Fane's leg and refuses to apologise. - he wants to play but FB or AL don't want him in the squad. WTF is going on???
  7. How do you know he doesn't want to pay Byrne's wages? That comment comes across as bit of a populist guess.
  8. See if I understand the situation here...…..January transfer window, we all wanted Corney to F*ck off quicker than he did which left AL with a couple of days to negotiate buying Byrne because Wellens and us pesky fans wanted the deal. Wellens picks him out of position or drops him completely and that is somehow AL's fault for interfering. Byrne, before the season starts is gobbing off, doesn't involve himself in Bunn's master plan....also AL's fault. None of us really knows what has happened but default position for a few on here...….bash the chairman!!!
  9. No problem with your HMRC comment but you have ignored AL referring to the companies that have issued winding up orders which he has had to deal with along with other debts that Corney avoided paying at the end of his tenure. As for interference in the team.....yes, he brought in players but it was Wellens choice to play or ignore them. If AL wanted to play Menig, he would have over-ruled Wellens and played Menig far more than he did . Relegation was purely down to Wellens's poor tactical nous, poor team selection and lack of man-management.
  10. This.....in it's entirety. TTA got the club for next to nothing......they invested money in a land deal at a knock down price with dodgy promises of helping the club. So to give AL all this crap after his short tenure AND having to play with a dodgy hand of cards dealt by Corney bewilders me.
  11. Maybe Vince owns the club outright and doesn't have to spank on rent as well as having a useful manager in place.
  12. We have had many players over the years with, undoubtedly, more talent than Gardner but gave us nothing on the pitch. Please don't use Banks in your argument...….Banks was only any good when he had a 10 yard space around him so he could measure his pass but absolutely useless when confronted by the opposition and was largely missing after the first 10 missing and reappeared when collecting his cheque. Give me Gardner every day!!!
  13. I'm going to give this another go.....if Gardner is not fit. will it be CoG as Captain?
  14. So if Gardner doesn't play, does that put the armband on O'Grady?
  15. It's you!!!......You're the bloke who bought Frankie Bunn's book "Haynes Manual of Football Tactics & Management".
  16. Mmmmm….only one? What about the return fixture? Could be a problem!!! How about an Anglo-Sweatie Cup between Latics and Fort Billy? Novel Idea, eh!!!
  17. Of course you'd get experienced managers at our level.....it's one of the golden 92 jobs. Corney stated on more than one occasion that within hours of sacking a manager, he would have over 70 CVs emailed through to him. Biggest problems are salary required or those who gone around the block several times at lower league level without sniffing a playoff spot. Note the likes of Martin Allen, who never seems to be out of work long.
  18. Is Byrne a visionary? Did he get suspended for telling Bunn where to get off with his strict fitness regime citing Baxter as a prime example?
  19. Nah....so you are saying Bunn should do a club interview on Friday and tell Forest Green that Clarke is injured instead of letting them guess our line-up!!! Why do you feel the need to know the moment it happens?
  20. Can't disagree with your point but O'Grady still would not have got on the end of better crosses.
