  1. The suspension for yellow cards for some reason starts 7 days after the 5th yellow, so Hazell would have missed the Cheltenham game if he was booked last night OR on Saturday. 1 match ban for 5 yellows (if before March), 2 match ban for 10 yellows (If before middle fo April), 3 match ban for 15 yellows, disciplinary hearing for 25/30/35 yellows!
  2. Doesn't really matter now does it! Lay off the guy. Now, HERE'S a question, who was the last TEENAGER to score 3 in a game for us, home or away?
  3. Now now, I know you're upset we won, but calm down matey, it could have been worse, we could have won by 6!
  4. What a rubbish draw, they beat us 2-1 in the Cup in both 01 and 02... BUT you see all those loan players they have? Bet nearly all of them can't play... ALSO, if we lose, well it's out of the way, and it's not an embarrassment. If we win, happy days.
  5. Kindly píss off Lordy, surely everyone is sick of you.
  6. To be fair, the footage of the Leicester game he'd just seen showed off how full the ground was, so maybe he thought it must be like that every week!
  7. When did Owen become a bad player in Latics fans' eyes?
  8. If it is a permanent move, it can only be to a very non-league club outside the transfer window. Even released players would have to wait until January to sign for a club. So it'll be a loan.
  9. I went away with a few mates to Buxton for the weekend we played Millwall away last season, and we had the BBC Score programme on. I kept going mental and "doing the Hughesy" when his name kept popping up.
  10. As someone has said, November 29th is the date of the FA Cup Round 2, so there's a half-decent chance we'll be at home that weekend! Even if we aren't, the club would love to get in touch with him, and like someone said it'd be great to read an interview with him in the programme. Even the BBC wanted to know how he was doing by the way!
  11. They'd run the risk of people who know a season ticket holder just saying "I'll go to the free one" rather than going to all 3. And then the possible problem of that one game being awful.
  12. For all our goals, our non-Hughes strikers aren't exactly banging them away... Hughes: 6 Alessandra: 1 O'Grady: 0 Davies: 0 I love the mentality of the average Latics fan too, "HUghes must be off!", "Davies is going to be moved out of position!", "How much are we paying HIM!!!" Don't look too much into it, just smile.
  13. Season long loan then cough up the transfer fee when we go up. Sorted! ;)
  14. Just this thread on a Wolves forum, nowt else
  15. Next week sees the biggest test of a full back in this division, as Dyer and Gradel are two very good wingers, and then they have Nicky Adams on the bench. If Jones defensive skills are lacking at all, we will find out vs Leicester!
  16. Wolves doing well without him to be fair, and their fans don't seem too keen on him would you believe!!!
  17. Noooo no no no, Taylor has made that left wing spot his own now, and Byrne isn't mobile enough to be a left back in English football IMO, he seems like much more of a centre back. However, it is good to know we won't be too stuck if Taylor is injured/suspended/sold if we can have Jones for the season. =)
  18. Last year Norm would probably have played all game, and indeed he did many times when he clearly should have come off. No such risk this term, and it's good that we have Greg now to depend on when Crossley gets a knock.
  19. I really like the Hughes-Davies partnership.
  20. Outside of a transfer window you can only have short term loans, which are a maximum of 93 days. As it happens, this would take the loan into January, when we WOULD be allowed to make it long-term. From the little I've seen of Jones, I'd prefer him to Bertrand, he's more on Chris Armstrong's level for me.
  21. I suspect he would only move for high money, high ambition, high league position, or Sheffield Wednesday. With all respect to Barnsley, he'd only be moving a few places higher in the league system.
  22. Yeah, I believe the plan is for him to play for the youth team this season, unless he proves himself to be far too good for them. =)
