  1. Indeed. @ChaddySmoker Has been given 24 Mod-Preview for his immediate move to personal commentary. I seemingly agree with you political leanings (the Daily Mail is indeed a crock of shit) but you can't be in the first 10 replies and immediately make it personal. That's just making this an unpleasant place for people to come! To everyone: I've edited / removed replies to that comment, where I can; that's possible on 2 pages of posts. If there's any further personal commentary or attacks your post is removed - I will not waste my time editing it for you, to leave the pertinent elements behind. We will however be transparent, where we can, and report in-thread what has been edited/removed and for what reason. It's a sensitive topic at a difficult time for many; think about that. No one's out to get you they just think that the way to get the best for their loved ones is different. Be nice.

  3. Hi All, A mate at work is a senior member of the Leyton Orient Fan's Trust, who are trying to raise £250,000 to have a viable fighting fund, for their battle with morally questionable owners and what appears to be impending doom. I know people came from far and wide to help us all those years ago, and that we may well be asking them to do the same anytime soon, so if you can spare a pound, a fiver or more it would be most welcome. I know for a fact the OASIS lads looked first and foremost to the Orient day out and can count ourselves lucky they were around - hopefully that can be the case again soon! 4. Such as spending your time worrying about it on a message board...?
  5. I've moved this topic from OASIS to the main board, where you are more likely to get help and I am sure people will happily meet you for a beer. Enjoy the game!
  6. As o4u has said; the mobile site now functions the same as the main site and so you have to click the icon to the left of the title to access the next unread post. If anyone's unsure of that guidance post below and I will put some screenshots together to help.
  7. Thank you - the Trust need to be kicking down the TIFOSY door demanding to know their intention for that fund. That's a lot of money they are 'minding' right now and it should be release back to the individuals if there's no evident reason to hold it.
  8. I hadn't given this enough attention; so TIFOSY is a third party, equivalent to other Crowd Funding sites, such as Kick Starter? Is that assertion correct? On the assumption that it is; how the hell do they not know where £22,000 of donated money is? If the club have revised their intention to spend this money on a scoreboard to a sponsors board why are TIFOSY not simply refunding people by default? Why bother with the club - petition TIFOSY (Tifosy Limited is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority - Reference Number: 717605) to release the funds back to all contributors directly? Can someone from the Trust comment on that approach and if they, as a considerable promoter of the scheme, believe there's a potential misuse of funds taking place?
  9. Is there a summary of how much was raised and from how many sources available anywhere? £60 average donation which totalled a little over £22,000 from 376 donations.
  10. So long and short of it is you just have to buy and annual travel pass? Interesting...
  11. Pissed or not - don't be an ass. That said, I will change it to wroteforluck87 for you (getting an error right now, need to investigate that first).
  12. There's been an app for ages, the old site worked on it too - it used to be that you had pay for it - I will be honest I don't know if they still do the app or if it's still paid for, as I don't use it.
  13. Thanks for the offer; the upgrade itself is included in our package and has been outstanding for a little while now, as we wanted to make sure the major changes it brought about were tested by other boards first. We welcome donations at any stage, anything above cost we have just waits in the account for the next bill, and prevents Steve and Rummy having to dip in to their own pocket that month. But, as I say, this upgrade doesn't require specific funding.
  14. Welcome to OWTB 2.0.... well, we're on about 10.0 now! Special thanks to Rummy who's managed to get the upgrade done without any fuss (so far!). As he said; post any troubleshooting requests or questions in here and I will do my best to get them answered ASAP. Please be patient on replies and help others where you can.
  15. The grammar on that post makes my eyes bleed.
  16. The thing is - football's a business (like it or not) and the person making the In/Out decision on Ranieri isn't just thinking about last season or even a PL title. They're thinking about 200+ employees and tens of millions of pounds. What if they go, and stay, down - they'd potentially (likely?!) have to fire a swathe of low to middle-income employees in what's a pretty low-income area to start with - as a result of not pulling the trigger on a man paid millions to do a job which, sentiment aside, he's failing to do. Its not nice to think like that about football, I'm not suggesting it's my stance as such; it's just an important element to have under consideration when thinking these things over.
  17. Cost fluctuate depending on traffic (hence why we merge threads and lock the old ones people bounce for no constructive reason), but generally due to our user numbers we require the premium package from IPB. Rummy or Steve can give you more specifics, they pay the bills. As for sponsors we've had a few along the years, not least of all the Club, but generally speaking people lose interest over time as whilst we know the user numbers are exceptional for a club of our size they don't have an overt effect. We're very confident we made the Club a lot of money, we know the impact we had on their traffic and the boost it gave them, but we decided that deal was't for us when the editorial meddling started - Rummy was very quick to step away at that point. Overall we'd welcome anyone willing to sponsor all or part of the board to get in touch - we've plenty of creative ways people can become involved in helping with costs!
  18. Oh well. I tried, Steve tried removing the worst of it, but you're all going to continue down the rabbit warren of being childish...
  19. Be nice to each other or I will get all ban-y. It's just embarrassing, you're supposed to be adults not 7!
  20. If people really are concerned about this they can rest easy that he's rarely stayed anywhere for long:
  21. I'd say you are better off emailing them about a business endeavour than using Twitter?
  22. Everton will have a crack team of coaches looking after him.
